Everything in Bernie's history shows he will advocate for the biggest social democratic policies and reforms that are needed. But when it's time to actually govern or compromise, he will take the most pragmatic political route possible.
That's why he was effective as Mayor of Burlington and why the people of Vermont have kept voting for him time and time again for the U.S. House and Senate.
