you think Hillary is..."real change" ?

Seriously?
I think she can be forced further left than Trump if u gave her a progressive congress. It amazes me how u would prefer Trump w/ the current house of Representatives. Again, some of u are clueless how to change the system. It wasn't designed to be changed suddenly. Progress is slow.

I don't prefer Trump. I"m shocked you don't know how our election process works...

Popular vote doesn't decided the president, ergo, YOUR VOTE (assuming you're not in the electoral college) means squat. EVERYONE in america could vote for Trump and Hillary could still win, that's how it works.

So rather than have your vote lend itself to continued legitimacy of an oh so clearly screwed up democratic party, vote 3rd party and at least the popular vote might wake the dems up for the midterm election.

You're half way there in terms of the process, but blind allegiance is something i can't get behind.

Progress is slow indeed, but even slower when people don't change or adjust given a new environment.

Dems will never be forced to change if you keep voting for them.

It's not like they only get half a vote just because you half enthusiastically vote for them.

You could have a clothes pin on your nose when you vote for them and they would still get your 1.0 vote.

That's actually an interesting system to consider. What if instead of a single "vote", you could allocate points to a candidate ranging from 0.1 to max 1.0 :patrice: voters could more easily express their level of support and communicate displeasure with their parties. What if you could send say, 0.6 to the Greens and 0.4 to the Dems?
