because globalization is not going anywhere the job market is no longer muricah, capital is not bound by silly things like nation states, and companies recruit worldwide so you're not only competing with your former school mate but the chinese nicca with 7 degrees.

and your not gonna bring back jobs from china thats not how evolution works, those jobs are going to vietnam...and then to africa, so you better cut advantageous deals with those countries so you dont get under cut and screwed out of the market like china did yall

so you do trade deals or you perish, you're a consumer economy you're starting at a disadvantage

So America somehow benefits in the global market by facilitating a trade deal that would kill even more American jobs. From everything I'm reading, it wouldn't benefit America at all. Companies would no longer be restricted to 'Buy American' in this deal. Companies would be able to sue the government for infringing on their right to do business job killing business overseas.
