Sir, you cannot upgrade any ol spec at anytime during the development process. Adding ram is EASY, adding everyting else isn't. One upgrade affects who the rest of the unit (system) runs. So doing what you speak of would create bottlenecks.

Yes, I'm pro xbox. But that doesn't mean what I said isn't FACT just now Sony could change its specs, but it wouldn't be something as simple as what happened with the PS4 is all I'm saying

That's an internal demo, it's not something that was passed out to devs, with a deadline and specific specs.

it wasn't only guerilla games with that dev kit, the same post you quoted to reply with this has an example of them going to a third party dev with 4GB who told them they were crazy to go in with that

unveiling Scorpio gave microsoft a solid show but also buried their xbox S. the xbox S is clearly the alternative for people not willing to spend the extra money or who don't need high end graphics.

this is the business model they have to go with to succeed if companies are planning to have a fast console cycle. you can't price/push out the casuals.

They're basically saying we will make more money selling our games on PC than we would having exclusives and forcing people to buy the Xbox one.

Guerrilla had the dev kit.

It was just conversations with 3rd party devs, and all of this was way more than 8-12 before release. They've already given devs a deadline for when their games need to be done. Changing at this point would be starting from square one. It's not a simple case of an upclock or adding ram. They'd have to research and develop an entire new GPU.

I was in Best Buy and they have a promotion for their rewards program and preordering games demoed at E3. Crackdown was one of them so its a surprise its not there. My guess is that its being moved to Project Scorpio

So Scorpio is made to have VR capabilities pretty much right?

sounds like one of the main reasons it was made was for. might even have an Oculus Rift coupon or some shyt bundled with it since they are partnered
