After all of the moves the Browns made what makes y'all so convinced they're going to give up the house for Jimmy when the team ain't ready yet? They're doing that Moneyball shyt where you don't overpay for any one player and stack assets. Just because they're the Browns and Beli is Beli?

Beli is not trading Jimmy. Maybe the Browns go full retard all of a sudden but I doubt it.

You know why Schefter is so confident Jimmy is not getting traded. Schefty is tight with Jonathan Kraft. Jimmy is staying, and with Tom being 40 next year, us Pats fans are flying 100 miles per hour against time and history...

..But who the fukk knows man.

I feel like those moves point to this trade getting ready to go down. They are stockpiling assets so they can give up a lot of picks without feeling it

I feel like the Browns are running a different playbook than the other teams as judged by their Osweiler trade. According to the usual NFL GM team building playbook they'd throw everything at the Pats, but they'd be much better off just taking Watson at #12 when the rest of the team ain't ready to win now OR keeping the picks and throwing the house at whomever has the first pick next year for Darnold. I'd say it's possible if it were different people running the team, but the point of those analytics folks is that you're always looking to build something sustainable which you do via the draft in the NFL and not by throwing damn near everything for a back up QB. Jimmy G ain't Herschel Walker. They seem smart enough to know that.

Also, this. It runs counter to Beli's usual MO of having a back up plan ready for aging stars.

Breh, the whole Brady Pats divorce is something I do not like thinking about. But it is pretty interesting when you think about it. Will Robert Kraft step in and say no to Beli? Brady being 40 will he drop off, will Brady take really small money to stay in NE, who the fukk knows. All these question are really going to come to a head at the end of next season.

It is going to be a very interesting off season for the pats next year.
