I dont care about him playing on the eagles, Ive seen him play on the pats and cover guys. he isnt really a FS either, but hes isnt comparable to mays. no one will ever even think of putting mays at FS unlike they did in boston or in philly.
chung also isnt 6'3/230 lbs like mays, hes a smaller safety. mays is basically a glorified linebacker who is stiff to be sideline to sideline LB, so he has to play safety to stay in front.

if were going by eagle careers, nnamdi was trash too- but he wasnt on the raiders.

Chung played at around 220 lbs. He was not a small safety.

And my whole point was that Chung looked exactly like how you're describing Mays when he played outside of NE. He was slow, he couldn't cover anybody and he looked like a guy playing the wrong position or just not good enough to be in the NFL.

So maybe Beli could do similar things with a guy like Mays.

chung is 5'11/200 pounds breh. like Ive said, I watched them play. mays is trash and I hated that pick ever since we picked him in the second round. chung is a much better safety.

No hes not

Hes listed at 215 and id bet he hasnt weighed that since college.

He was 220 - 230 with the Eagles

youre right hes listed at 215, he was way slimmer tho before in his first ~5 years with pats
still not 6'3. kam chancellor is the only SS recently I can think of who even plays safety well at that height

mays trash, hes ok as backup in case of injury to get ~15 snaps in a few games here and there. nothing more besides that. he'd get picked on if hes starting.

Ya'll still arguing about Taylor Mayes?

I just see him as wasted talent, he had similar measurables to Sean Taylor except for the instincts

well now I am again :birdman:

mays is a glorified bodybuilder who has some measurables and is athletic enough to play football casually as a very mediocre/below average SS or LB. he has no football iq instincts or agility to play reactionary in the pros
