Moved to the center? WTF are you talking about? I WISH she had moved to the center. Jumping off the deep end with Bernie has killed her.

If she played to the center she would be klobuchar status.

he ate into the white college educated crowd, i get it...well i don't, because i don't get him as a candidate, but if there were one demo for him to resonate in, i get that being one of them

as for her and POC, real talk it simply boils down her running up against two people with better name recognition than her in in communities of color. i know we spend a lot of time in this, but the average voter doesn't. i actually feel bad because a lot of people are missing her message. she's done all the outreach, but biden has the juice with old black folks and bernie with younger black/latinos. it's funny tho because i do feel like black women in the 30-45 range fukk with liz, at least from looking at my different groups of friends :yeshrug:

Nah, her ground outreach isn't as prominent as Bernie's right now (speaking from personal experience), and I think her lack of name recognition (aside from the native american jokes) hurts her at this point. I think if she decides to run in 2024 she'll have a bigger starting point and will have less growing pains.

We're negotiating with the GOP at the end of the day, why compromise so early in the process?
is this the go-to talking point?

you're negotiating with dems as well, the people who need to vote you into office in the first place...dems who don't want a M4A plan yet would be happy to have a public option be the plan the party pushes

you basically confirmed what i was saying...name recognition. that also affects ground game as there were already people lined up to work bernie's campaign

Sanders got robbed of what? Bernie was coming into Iowa with a pretty substantial lead in the polls and reports of his GOAT ground game that would lead to massive turnout. What actually happened is he eeked out a win against fukkboy Pete and that "revolutionary" turnout was a big dud. He underperformed. Pete honestly deserved the best coverage based on the real results, he overperformed the most. But because Bernie's online stanbase thrives off of grievance, this Iowa fukkery was the best thing that could have ever happened to Bernie. Without the fukkery to hold our attention, we'd have moved on already. Instead, Bernie gets to get in front of the cameras and style off this fukkery. I swear if Bernie beats Trump y'all still gonna find a way to say he was robbed. A lot of the left is so used to losing they've become addicted to the feeling. Y'all don't really want to govern.

RCP average had Sanders up 3.4% at the end. That's almost exactly his current lead and it looks like it will grow. Buttigieg only outperformed in collecting a few more centrists who bounced during the process but that was more a quirk of the process and particular electorate than anything that will help him going forward.

I highly doubt that. Warren has a progressive record she can fall back on. Her political instincts haven't been on point that last few months. Jumping off the deep end on m4a and de-criminalizing the border are two things she should have stayed away from.

Decriminalization of the border is a right wing talking point. Before Sessions I think it was a misdemeanor for illegal crossing with no other shyt going on. Jeff made it a felony. I think the Dem position is to move It back pre Trump.

We're talking about a minority of democrats here, even a good amount of right wingers support m4a and if the sitting president is out here marching for it, giving speeches and applying pressure to conservative dems I don't see it losing support.

She did the exact opposite of this actually, especially when it comes to M4A. And it's that wishy washy, non-committal, 1 foot in-1 foot out approach to every progressive policy that has alienated her from both actual progressives and the centrist neoliberals that populate the democratic party and started her descent into no-man's land as far as support and candidacy goes.

Mayor Pete calls in stop the DMR poll which put him behind Bernie/Warren and now this.

The satellite caucuses are the most diverse (black and brown) and most working class caucuses in the state...

I wonder why he wants to effectively suppress those votes?:jbhmm:

How on brand for him (yuck).:coffee:
