You asserted that this was caused by the DNC when the issue squarely rests on the shoulders of Iowans.
This is you assigning one mindset to all progressives again...
"There's plenty of blame to go around."
This asserts that we can place blame on more than one entity.
"During the rules reforms, the progressives pushed for more oversight over how contracts like the one for that app are handed out. The DNC didn't pass anything for more budgetary oversight in these instances though."
This isn't an assertion. It's the fact that progressives wanted stronger oversight which would help to keep things from screwing up and/or reduce suspicion if they still did.
"So the DNC can be drawn into the conversation considering they had a chance to put in more oversight and this contract wound up with a group that had worked for one candidate last election and got money from a current candidate."
This is why there are questions and anger at the DNC. Not only did they deny the increased oversight. But the contract for this app wound up with former Hillary for America staffers who then received money from Pete Buttigeig. Combine the DNC blocking more oversight with the image of certain presidential candidates being involved in app development and you get...
"No matter how you want to spin it, it looks sketchy."
Which is the absolute conclusion and if you can't even concede that, you're just being obtuse.
That's the whole post, no assertion of who "caused" this. Just a couple of facts that explain how the mindset that DNC deserves some blame is involved. You really have to be stubborn not to get why people are pissed about this. Biden's the one who demanded a review. It looks sketchy to everybody and more oversight might have helped avoid that. Nothing in my post asserts more than that, so stop letting trying to infer shyt that isn't there.
