Just started listening to this and within the first few minutes it gives you an idea of why Morton is out. Montgomery mentions that St Brown is being bracketed by defenses more, which opens up opportunities for other receivers. Not just Jamo but Raymond, as we saw on Sunday; a lot of those Raymond catches were the type of shyt St Brown does when he's being covered 1 on 1.

But if you watched the previous games (not counting the Washington game) you saw Morton keep forcing the ball to St Brown, or throwing the ball away/checking down if he wasn't open. With all the other receivers running deeper routes it's no surprise we constantly sputtered when Amon Ra got doubled/bracketed. And it's clear as fukk that Morton had zero solution for it.

I also noticed St Brown was on the sidelines multiple times against Washington. Yet the passing game never took a step back. It was like Campbell was teaching a class on how to scheme shyt without your best player on the field. And it was nothing crazy advanced....this was Offense 101 type shyt that Morton couldn't figure out.

Only chance is to just outscore them. Teslaa should have bigger role with Laporta out

Good point, make it a track meet. Frankly even with our depleted defense I'm not 100% sure Philly can get into a track meet with anyone right now. That run game isn't really working and Hurts doesn't look good either. Honestly it seems to be more OC related than Saquon or Hurts truly falling off. Specifically blocking schemes and routes (sound familiar?).

Kinda makes me wonder about Sirianna long term. We rightfully discuss Campbell whiffing on Lynn and Morton but at the end of the day neither really hurt the team. Ben Johnson erased the Lynn shyt, and Campbell is clearly capable of erasing Morton. But with Sirianni apparently picking another questionable OC you gotta wonder what happens going forward. No he won't be fired this year or next year. But Philly has fired a coach a couple years after a SB before. It's worth thinking about.

I swear everything keeps breaking right for Bears and Packers every week :snoop:

Neither are good teams. That Vikings loss gonna hurt Lions bad
Bears are reminding me of their 2001 team (:flabbynsick:) when they forced a million turnovers and it felt like they returned a pick or fumble for a TD every other week. Bullshyt win game after game.

Lions gonna have to make a decision on Goff at some point. He folds under any adversity. He’s been very fortunate to play on two different teams with loaded offensive talent that hides his flaws. He our Alex Smith and we need to draft our Mahomes /Love or trade for our Stafford. He is incapable of elevating anyone

Campbell continues to he an idiot. Take 3 fgs and Lions win this ugly game. Philly offense did nothing. He kept putting undermanned defense in terrible spot all night

St Brown need to stop podcasting and get back to catching balls from jug machine. Crazy amount of drops this year

Lions used two 3rds to draft Teslaa and traded away Tim Patrick for nothing for him to never get targets

No guarantee we even make playoffs at this point

This team is too emotional and it starts with the head coach. You have to be able to read a situation and put your team in position to win VS saying fukk it my guys are better than their guys. Those were the defending champs, show them some respect. Hell show your undermanned defense some respect. They balled out and were never given help.

This o-line can’t insulate Goff against great d-lines. It’s been obvious all season. And the big problem is at center. Holmes and Campbell have said they see Ratledge as the long term center. Does that mean next season? Because then you’re stringing together two seasons with potential o-line questions. He looks great at guard. What’s the plan B if he can’t do it? Because another season of this shyt with Glasgow is unacceptable.
