Season basically over. Need to win out every game + GB and Bears to drop games. Not gonna catch SF for the other wildcard spot because they have the easiest schedule left in the NFL. Ragnow might as well stay gone, season is cooked. He really fukked up by waiting so long to retire.

Anything can happen but it's not looking good. The schedule the Lions are facing is brutal. Shouldn't have lost to the Vikings among other things.

Yeah, bad loss and terrible injury luck. Holmes shyt the bed this off season tbh. The window is closed now and changes are needed.

Lions have to go all in next year before Decker falls off and Ragnow retires again. Get Frank some reps but let him go into offseason healthy and ready for next year.

I will gladly sacrifice Laporta and Branch future deals to get another pass rusher. Lock Gibbs and Campbell up. Hendrickson will hit FA this offseason. And fukk them picks. If a couple FRPs can get you a Crosby you do it with no hesitation.

Lions window isnt closed because all their best players are still young and under contract. Despite Holmes not addressing certain needs, he is still drafting good players overall. But he has to make win now moves. Not moves to stay relevant 5 years from now.

Not happening but somehow Getting off Goff contract somehow will be the thing that can keep whole core of team together

Holmes should be feeling the heat more than Campbell. That's not excusing Campbell's bonehead decision making going for it on every fourth down the past couple weeks, but anyone who didn't have blinders on knew this roster wasn't good enough to compete for a Super Bowl.

They didn't add anybody notable all offseason and Holmes was condescending to anybody who questioned his team building. He basically brought back the same team that didn't win a playoff game last year. Same injury prone guys; same lack of pass rush; offensive line got worse.

Hutchinson's play is starting to tail off. It shouldn't be a surprise when you consider the burden he's carrying. They have him out there on 93% of the snaps! All the other top pass rushers are below 80%; ALL of them. He's playing way too much but Sheppard doesn't really have a choice because who else is gonna generate pressure?

Also, Terrion Arnold is still ass. Got roasted on the biggest play of the game, then wasn't even on the field for the final fourth down.

I'm not gonna argue the cap issues going forward if they'd traded for Myles Garrett or Micah Parsons but Holmes' refusal to cash in on draft picks for established stars is maddening. Their last two first rounders are Arnold and Tyleik Williams. Gimme a fukking break.
I’ll take the L because I agreed with Holmes on the off-season. We did a lot to improve depth but top end talent wasn’t really addressed besides Reed. Long term priorities have to shift now. I don’t want an off-season of handing Branch and Laporta deals. Let them play out their contracts. Branch is basically out there on one leg so I’m not gonna criticize him btw.

Terrion played well overall, still not worried. And Tyleik is good. But I get your point. Deals could have been made. Hell I wish we traded down in 2024. Remember all the mock drafts that had Terrion in the top 12 and us taking Lassiter, the CB from Georgia? He went in the early 2nd round and looks damn near elite for the Texans. Granted any CB is going to look good behind two great pass rushers which gets us back to that.

We need multiple pass rushers. It’s not just Hutch playing too many snaps. Why is Alim playing damn near entire games? DT is one of the deepest positions on the team and we can’t stagger guys in waves like Philly? This is about macho bullshyt coaching decisions. Alim should be at 30-35 snaps max until the playoffs (lol). They’re killing these guys and then wondering why they’re hurt.

I forgot to say that at least Ragnow removes center from must need. We should still draft one but it’s no longer a top 2 priority. That should give Holmes the space to hit pass rushers hard. And we should be open to trading the pick for one.

Holmes and Campbell getting they asses humbled this year

Dline is healthy as its gonna get and they were MIA today. Hutch is fading. Alim aint the same player so far. Muhammad had a good 3 weeks and turned into the journeyman he’s always been. Resigned Davenport and Onzurike who are always injured and surprise to no one they both got injured again. Draft a DT that can’t rush the passer. But Holmes just keep ignoring fan outrage about pass rush. All this man to man with no passrush is just stupid

Season on the line Thursday against Cowboys. Zero confidence this defense stopping CD and Pickens.

Get Ragnow ready for next year. Just one less need. Get an experienced OC that has had success in this league. Daboll or McDaniels if he gets fired

Draft another QB high. Goff is not it. We are Watching Love take his game to another level that Goff is not capable of.

They had chances to go all in on Lamar and Miles. Cutting the check like that would secure a superbowl win. Shouldn't be a problem to retool if its a cap issue since dude drafts well.

Still have alot of confidence in Holmes more so than Campbell. Even in these so called bad drafts hes still getting starters. Ratledge and Taleik will be starters for a long time. Teslaa literally catches everything thrown his way. Playcalling issue with him more so than a talent one.

2024 is his worst draft and still got two starters in Arnold and Mahogany. No clue what Rakestraw and Manu are yet. Not going to call them bust just yet.

Holmes came from that Rams system. He show follow their example. Rams saw their shot and took it. They went aggressively after Von Miller, OBJ, Stafford, Ramsey to get there championship.

They're stuck with Goff and if they fix the defense and the oline play is better he doesn't matter. He's good enough to win a Superbowl with even if he won't be the reason.

Holmes built this team, I have faith in him. But there needs to be a reckoning about the d-line and somebody has to win/lose. No other good team dismisses pure pass rushers like we do. If you aren’t 260+ pounds you aren’t getting drafted here. The one guy who didn’t fit that mold was James Houston and the coaching staff pushed him out quick.

Stopping the run doesn’t matter if you can’t touch a QB on third and long. I need to see this scheme shift next year. Because big ass rushers who slowly crush the pocket aren’t getting it done. If your scheme dismisses Nik Bonitto because he can’t set an edge as well as a bigger guy then you’re an idiot..

The misses in the last two drafts are glaring. It’s one thing to hang onto the picks and not go after Crosby, Hendrickson, Paraons but it’s another to hang onto the picks and then miss on the picks. Rams trading us all those picks for Stafford and then passing us up again is telling

Blew their chance last year and the year before. It’s over. Penny pinching Holmes missed his shot
They aren't that far apart from the good teams that are beating them. With a better defense and the oline back right it's an elite team again. It's just time for the GM to make most splashy moves than all this conservative stuff. If he doesn't swing for the fences soon it'll be over.

I thought I was the only guy on here he said they should have sold the farm for Lamar. Him and Gibbs would’ve been a cheat code
