I was on Crosby train but Lions have so many holes to fill now. Keep the picks. Probably better to just pursue DE like Hendrickson or Philips in FA. Or maybe Gary since he’s getting released
Only way for the lions to come out of this quickly, is they need a draft where get 5-6 players that are starters or high level contributors from the jump. To many holes for free agency to fix this roster.

Lions probably never wanted him to come back another year. Just move Sewell to LT. Big question is what to do with Ratledge. Center FA market isn’t that great. Might as well covert him to C and get another guard elsewhere because that’s an easier position to find.

LT Sewell
LG Mahogany or Frazier
C Ratledge
RG FA vet
RT 1st or 2nd rd pick
With McGovern off the market and Linderbaum presumably too expensive, the best option is Cade Mays. There was a combine rumor that the Lions are interested in him too. I'd rather go that route than move Ratledge to center. Could he be a good center? Sure. But I'm not risking my entire season on him balling out at a new position. He played really good at RG...leave him there in my opinion.

Move Sewell to LT and draft a RT. Sign a vet LG to compete with Mahogany and Frazier. As long as we hit at center the line will be good. I truly think even with a dumbass OC and injuries if Ragnow was on the squad (healthy) last season we would have won 11 games and made the playoffs. That's the key to make all this shyt work: preventing interior pressure from spooking Goff and getting us into the best run sets.
