It doesn't benefit a team to win the SEC tournament. Playing tough game after tough game, then get a team like UCONN in your 2nd game in the NCAA tournament. Would have been better for them to lose to Tennessee and be a 2 seed.

Major Conference tournaments only benefit teams that are in need of a win or 2. They're designed for the conference to make ad revenue...which is why the B1G slates it's final on CBS to end 5 minutes before selection sunday. There's no benefit to the top 5 teams in the conference to try their hardest in the conf tournament.

He's going from an iowa school to another iowa school. I know UT can recruit but who knows if he could recruit the south/TX as well as UT would expect from their HC. Miller has a history of national recruiting)

Miller also under achieved a lot. Also Shaka was from Wisconsin and we recruited just fine tbh Texas mainly recruits itself especially after we got KD.

They got the toughest 8 you could get. Losing to Tennessee would have still had them play that game anyway. UConn as an 8 is tougher then any of the 7's this year. They could have lost the SEC semi and still been a 2. Extra day of rest
