Y'all gonna have your hands full with michigan breh...their guards are starting to actually play well
Eh. Auburn is a "matches up really bad with very specific roster constructions" type of team. Their paint size does worry me a bit - Auburn doesn't do well with that. Broome turns into a fairy against plus size and athleticism. Goldin is the 5 as I understand, so he's at least quicker than him. Wouldn't be surprised if they flipped the matchup and put Wolf on him though.
Tre is the exact type of PG that Denver puts in a cell though. He's not quick or fast and relies on size. Not a quick trigger shooter. If Denver can just play you straight up and can lean on you on those drives, it's not happening.
I think the others will probably make the game. Our non-Denver guard defense has been lacking recently. UM does seem to have a ton of self-creators that could take adv of that. Cardwell will be the primary matchup on Wolf - he's gonna have to press to try to take away his vision as a facilitator. He's gotten a ton of cheap fouls in his career in situations like that.
Between it being a home court game for us and us finally playing with some fukking pride again, I think I would take us 6 out of 10 times, but I. do understand UM has this sense of bullshyt where they pull out every close game. Hopefully the game doesn't to get close lol.
