Time to see if those Duke freshman really ready tonight
I 100% agree. He was never a serious NPOY candidate, but if you take him off Purdue, they're probably a .500 team. Take Flagg off duke and they're still S16 team at the very least.Braden isn't going to get real NPOY decision with how set the discussion has been about the big two, but there's no one who's more of a "MVP" type of guy than Braden

shyt finna be a movie
Don't blame him for leaving can't bench your best player down the stretch and expect him to come back, this isn't 1995
Doubt he goes to the draft he's a second round pick if that and can prob get a nice nil 7 figure payday from a bunch of schools.
If we can stay hot from 3 it’s gonna be a fun game. But Flagg is a freak and Duke length(pause) is scary though.
So now you cant bench a player in one game cause he is having a terrible game and costing the team that day? So what is a coach to do? If the whole starting 5 is terrible that day, what would you do in that situation?
Damn Pitino booting him out
Look at Houston yesterday LJ croyer was 1/11
Sampson kept him in and dude hit a 3 with a minute left
And?
Croyer wasnt sulking on the court, and was playing strong defense. Also, Houston was ahead in the game, so they had leeway. St. Johns was behind and they Pitino needed to find someone who can score now.
Just watching the game, we can all see that if Luis' shot is off, he is mentally done. EVERY possession, a teammate had to go to him and try to keep his spirits up. He was having a bad game, and he mentally checked out. Pitino was trying to find a spark to win the game and give the kid another chance. This tourney is one and done, not a series.
I will be interested and rooting for the kid at his next stop. But the competition wont be getting easier.
