Bottom line. They knew republicans would never cave especially admitting to a lost. democrats used it as a way to sway the voters since majority of the blame has been on republicans. Even the president stated republicans got destroyed Because of the shutdown. Democrats got what they wanted and said ok, let’s stop people from eating and go back to trying to make a balanced deal with hope. Or shut it down again next time and hoping republicans realize the back lash from this one that they may not want to deal with again On the next one knowing next time democrats will stick to the script.

yep. the Dems let the "do something" calls get to them, and shut it down, to try to get something that doesn't exist yet. and Republicans were never gonna let Dems bully them into just giving them whatever ACA funding level they wanted, in front of the entire country

It was a Republican shutdown. They refused to extend credits on the ACA which will increase healthcare premiums for millions of Americans. They can bail out Argentina but fugg America. Those fuggtards can cut billions of taxes for the rich but don't give a fugg about working Americans.

I don't know why any of them are mad, but it is probably because they didn't the ACA benefits to stop the increase in the premiums.

the ACA negotiation doesn't happen until december Dems thought they could shut down the government, to try to demand the level they wanted in advance. they failed

The new premiums are already known. This shutdown was because Trump was trying to stop the release of the Epstein files. They wouldn't even swear in the new Congresswoman from Arizona to prevent the vote on the files release.
