I feel the bench having success in the playoffs helped cause Thibs demise. It showed the Knicks had viable options despite the rhetoric

Dadiet and Kolek (I'm not really sold on Kolek, Dadiet is going to be a gem) never really being given a chance to crack the rotation played a part in Thibs demise

I feel the consistent slow starts to begin 3rd qtrs, something that was an issue all season helped cause Thibs demise. (Mikal comments put more emphasis on it)

Thibs strongest asset is his Defense accumen.....the team being so up-down on that end helped caused Thibs demise.

All in all I still don't think this move gets made unless Leon already had his guy in the waiting.

Yall retarded every coach has flaws and has to respond to the limitations of their roster construction.

U retards came to the conclusion over 3 successful seasons that this man is one of the worst coaches in history or some shyt

Stupid ass fans u nikkas better hope they hire someone capable

Championship? Brother we’re linked to Lloyd Pierce. It’s downhill from here.

Coaches don’t play. Thibodeau isn’t the reason this team didn’t win a championship this season.

we can wager any money that LLOYD PIERCE wont be our coach
a coach can LOSE you a chance at a championship
we acquired KARL ANTHONY TOWNS AND SAID fukk 5 OUT OFFENSE. We lived and died with unreal levels of shotmaking throughout the playoffs. Sorry basketball shouldnt be this difficult on offense with the talent we have.
good riddance

Delon joined late in the season. Shamet was out a good portion of the year as was Robinson.

Delon and Shamet are fringe guys at this point in the league.

The rest of the team is youngings.

The depth of this team fukking sucks.

You're talking about depth, I'm talking about variety.

If I got a team of youngins, I want them singularly focused on watching tapes on all my potential playoff match ups to see what they do and how to exploit it so I got secret weapons just in case.

I want a facilitator like Kolek running with my starters and shooters to see what works.

I want my all hustle and effort players like Cam/Deuce/Hart running other team benches off the floor when the team needs a spark when they're stagnant and need momentum.

Doesn't need to be extensive, but I want them experimenting with shyt like that in the regular season so come the playoffs, if/when we need a different look, we got something in the chamber just in case and it's not just throwing some together to see if it works.

I'm not talking about having a deep 10 or 12, I'm talking about knowing how to use my personnel in different ways, when I need to, and not just when my back is against the wall. You can't do that shyt when you're stuck to 7 or 8 guys. I got 12 dudes on this roster, I need to know what the fukk they bring to the table, whether they've been with the team since training camp, returning from injury or a scrapheap pick up. I know what I got the first 10 minutes of the game and I know what I'll likely need the last 5 when it's close. I need to figure out the in-between. Thibs wasn't about that shyt. He goes with what he knows. There's value to that. It also cost him his job. :yeshrug:

Minnesota barely played Terrence Shannon and Rob Dillingham and they’re legit talented studs.

Most coaches don’t do any of this shyt. No coach is trying to lose games and playoff seeding to do experiments.

What success did the bench have? Other than the Pacers series they were carried by kat and brunsonr
