Raw player. Tools are there but he's raw. But he's another first rounder for sure.

That 18-32 range you're gonna see a run on bigs.

2nd round will just be euros and small wings that are buckets but won't be asked to do that in the NBA.
Yeah, there are a bunch of big men available that are a mix of raw with potential or should be serviceable; and I'm curious if teams will lean a bit more on getting a true big for their bench since I feel like rosters are getting away from small-ball.

The lottery is gonna be a bunch of wings. Second round, I'm betting it'll be shooters and big bodies. I'd use a second rounder on a big wing with range like Dawson Garcia, just to see if he can break through.

The smoke is getting thicker. This is an unconfirmed source, but as I keep saying the Mavs haven't said the Knicks can’t interview Kidd yet. Plus Kidd ain’t loyal, the Mavs Lowkey should go into a rebuild around Flagg, and Kidd’s been traded as a coach before.

U can only laugh at the shyt another season of nikkas bytching nightly about the coach

Kidd is not a better coach than Thibs :dead:

Did all of you clamoring for him to be fired ever think of who would replace him and if we’d actually be better off?

Oh, I can’t wait to see Kidd’s super saiyan flex, Princeton, Triangle sets full of ball movement, curls, and back cuts a real offensive system :obama:

Nope, the Mavericks have been top 3 in iso every year of his tenure :mjlol:

"Big Knick Energy" is not a valid source.

Anyway, I've made my feelings clear already.

He’s not, and I admit it can all be bulegit but he is the current hot hand. I usually think they are someone connected to the team entourage, family member, or burner account. Though correct guesses also happen.

Its been a week. And none of these nikkas have thoughts about actual players who can fill out the bench.

Only fantasies about trading half the current team for KD or Giannis

I find it HIGHLY unlikely with how tight lipped the FO's been to let it leak they're actively pursing Kidd as a likely candidate lol. This FO has mostly if not all the time made moves in silence & I have no doubt it'll be the same here
Idk it’s different when they do trades… everybody knew they was going to hire Thibs. I remember writing a post explaining why Thibs sucked because there is a cycle to his time at a team…. A cycle the Knicks went through completely…..

Anyhow they didn’t move quietly with Thibs.

Yabesule… I was saying that during the regular season.

He’s like a Boris Diaw’ish player, but can put the ball on the floor a little and not an elite passer for his size though he can do it.

Kidd’s demeanor is different from Thibs he’s not as tough and he’s not as fiery. He’s a players coach with a more soft and laid back disposition.

He’s very much a “let the players figure it out” or “the game will tell you what to do” type coach too. The Mavs play more iso ball than the Knicks.

Thibs might stick with his guns go with the guys he believes in while Kidd is more experimental with line ups which can also be a fault and is an arguably worse fault.

He’s never had an elite regular season as a coach despite the Finals appearance. The Mavs fans complain about his lack of adjustments, not playing young players, and describe him as not being a good regular season coach.

Thibs was the best coach at challenges (78%) this season while also being one of the coaches that challenged the most.

The Mavs were one of the worst winning just 54% of their challenges.

This is a downgrade if it were to happen and so would Mike Brown and Luke Walton but it’s what y’all wanted. :mjlol:

Bro your saying he will lose a regular season game to experiment with the roster leading into the playoffs so he can use his full team in the playoffs effectively?…..

Sign him up :wow:

NOW!!:damn:

How about playing McBride with the starters multiple games if Hart is a in a shooting slump?

I've already acknowledged that we missed out on a Klay Thompson build by not playing deuce 35 minutes a night

How many times do you want me to apologize
