Shamet shot 40 percent from 3, Payne shot 36 from 3 and Wright is at least a plus defender. Also Thibs kept putting Payne out there even though he's the most volatile player on the team. Ultimately Leon gave him a center to run 5 out and he refused to do it and now he's outta there.

Luke Kennard would be a nice pick-up.

I'd be happy of Luke was our off season acquisition. He's one of the best shooters in the league, he can handle the ball and play spot minutes at pg too. He's just not aggressive at all (never has been) and it really limits his ceiling. Still, for 5.7 mil a year and as a bench piece he'd be great, and fwiw Taylor Jenkins seemed to draw the best out of him last year too.
