He's just not aggressive at all (never has been) and it really limits his ceiling.
So how would he be any different from Matt Ryan?

Matt Ryan wasn't an nba caliber athlete. He couldn't get open or get his shot off ever.So how would he be any different from Matt Ryan?
He'd make a really good complimentary backcourt piece to McBride.I'd be happy of Luke was our off season acquisition. He's one of the best shooters in the league, he can handle the ball and play spot minutes at pg too. He's just not aggressive at all (never has been) and it really limits his ceiling. Still, for 5.7 mil a year and as a bench piece he'd be great, and fwiw Taylor Jenkins seemed to draw the best out of him last year too.
Kennard can actually hoop…Matt Ryan was on the team because he from White PlainsSo how would he be any different from Matt Ryan?
Would you start him?Kennard can actually hoop…Matt Ryan was on the team because he from White Plains
He’s a lifetime 44% 3PT (!) and he can do some secondary ball handling would definitely give us some of what Donte did

Nah, too many weak defenders in the starting line up.Would you start him?
Triggering the second apron for Kenard doesn’t seem ideal.I don’t think the Knicks have Kennard money.
If they could put a S&T though…. We could do i.
