Honestly I think it's also how Thibs used him. Mcbride should have been a bigger part of the team last season. Yeah he played 24 minutes a game but his usage rate was 18% for the last two years. Meanwhile Brunson and Kat both were at 30% of the usage. Even for a team that was maybe 6 or 7 deep. That is a high ass usage rate considering the other guys aren't offensively challenged role-players. Thib's offense meant that either of Brunson or Kat having a bad game meant the offense was fukked. Mikel and OG was also around 20% of usage like Mcbride. The team was too talented for it to be that heavily reliant on just two guys offensively. Thib's defense wasn't stellar either last year because both KAT and Brunson aren't very good defenders.

I am really hoping Brown utilizes these guys better. This roster isn't like the Iverson 76ers or Kidd's Nets. Almost all of the guys in the rotation can give them 10+ points every game.
