I used to go hard with the phone tech a few years ago, but now? Not at all.

I'm still rocking this EVO4GLTE without a care in the world. I'm running Cyanogenmod ROM on it with KitKat, no complaints, and I don't see the point of getting a new phone anytime soon. My bro just got that M8. Looks nice, but I know that I'd just put Cyanogenmod on it and it'd be basically the same experience that I have right now with this 2 year old phone

I disagree about the same experience part. You had to root and flash a rom to get kit kat. This is not reality for millions of people. There is a big difference betwteen the M8 and the Evo LTE

You might want to read what he wrote. He didnt once mention millions of people. He's talking about his own experience.

There is a big difference between the 2 even running kit kat. M8 is in a league of its own

I had the EVO LTE before a switched to an iPhone 5. I couldn't rock that phone anymore. It's got a 720p screen and all. Ever since I got this Galaxy S5 I basically quit using my Nexus 7. I still use the iPad Mini but at 5.1 vs 7 inches the Galaxy S5 is close enough to render the Nexus useless to me. Might give it to my mother.

Part of it all is I have unrooted stock Touchwiz on this Galaxy S5. I mean Touchwiz has its faults but I haven't come across anything that made me feel like I need to root and flash anything else on it. Putting Cyanogenmod on an M8 would waste most of it's features as would it on the S5.

Yo need a app to hide a contact.... Go SMS I can block text from certain people right?
Use Google Voice. it's free.

I don't watch that much of anything on my phone so the 720p screen is fine enough for me.
