got my OPO a few days back and I'm loving this thing, man. Upgraded from the S4 and this is just a much better all around product. Luckily for me, the downsides of it (no removable battery or SD card) don't really matter at all, so it's perfect for my needs. If those two things don't really bother you, then this is definitely the phone for you. It's smooth as hell and works flawlessly. I don't wanna sit here and say it's a flagship killer, but I wouldn't be able to justify spending twice the money on a G3, S5, or M8 when this does everything I need and feels premium. To be real, even if the OPO and the S5 were the same price, I'd still go for the OPO. Just feels more solid and I hate Touchwiz. Probably won't even root it because I like CM as is.

How hard is it to get a Oneplus invite and how long are they valid for?

If you join the site now and wait for an invite, you'll wait a long time possibly. But if you can't wait, there are invites and the phone itself for sale on ebay.

I would exercise extreme caution buying invites from E-Bay. Reading through the OPO forums, seems like some people are getting scammed, but it works for others. Best bet is what @J-Nice suggested and that's signing up to the OPO forum, be an active and constructive poster and somebody might give you one. It beats paying inflated prices for them(and the phone itself, which won't have a warranty) online. On the other hand, you'll most likely be waiting a while to get an invite from OPO themselves. I just got one yesterday and I signed up back on June 9th. If they give me any invites, I'll let people who are interested in this thread know.

I agree. You take a chance when you buy from ebay or oppomart. I joined the OPO forums in early May, participated in the forums and the contests and then I was lucky enough to win my first invite by winning the first contest I entered. Also I got my regular invite last week. Oneplus has been rolling through invites so far and they plan on giving more at a faster rate so everyone can get a chance to buy the one. For those who sign up later, their phone could possibly be the best ones yet as Oneplus would have ironed out the kinks with the earlier models. This phone is absolutely incredible. Is it a Flagship killer? That depends on the person. For me it is. But use extreme caution when buying invites off any 3rd party site. They only last 24 hours.

It really is a great phone. If it wasn't people wouldn't be giving it so much praise (including myself).
