So just couple days ago I installed flash player and showbox and somehow I got this different app store (not google play) which has everything for free, but a friend accidentally formatted the tablet. anyone know the name? I believe it started with "A" and had an orange icon.

I don't think I can go away from Nexus devices now, or at least stock android. Maybe GPE devices. Getting updates as soon as they come out, no carrier bloat is

Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet
Let’s start with the Xperia Z4 Tablet. The next Xperia tablet is slated to arrive around the same time as the Xperia Z4 smartphone, with a 10.1-inch Quad HD display. Sony is also testing a 3840 x 2160 panel for the device, but the final version is more likely to ship with Quad-HD resolution than 4K. It will feature a design language similar to the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, with much thinner bezels than previous Sony 10-inch tablets that have had giant bezels all around. The twin stereo speakers from the Z3 Tablet Compact will also be present and it could be one of the most compact and light 10-inch Android tablets when it launches. The hardware of the tablet will be similar to the Xperia Z4 – Snapdragon 810 Octa-Core chipset, 4GB RAM, and 32GB internal memory. The rear camera will use a 13MP or higher resolution sensor, while the front camera will be an 8MP unit.

Our source shared some new information on the Xperia Z4 too. The device will come with Qi-wireless charging support. The magnetic charging port that Sony has been using since the original Xperia Z came out in early 2013, will not be used on the Xperia Z4. One complaint that Xperia Z users have had has to do with the microUSB port flaps that seem to loosen with time, compromising the water resistance of the device. That will not be an issue with the Xperia Z4 as it will not have any flaps for the microUSB port, like on the Galaxy S5 Mini. It will still be water resistant though, with the same IP68 certification as the Xperia Z3.

Xperia Z4 Compact and Xperia Z4 Ultra
Sony is also said to be considering launching the Xperia Z4 Compact and Xperia Z4 Ultra alongside the Z4 and Z4 Tablet. The Xperia Z4 Compact will still come with the same 4.6” display size but with higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 and upgraded internals. Our source doesn’t have much to share about the Xperia Z4 Ultra, except the fact that it will have the same 6.4” display size as the original Xperia Z Ultra, with Quad-HD or 4K resolution.

You should know by now Google has a staged rollout process for the OTAs.

If you don't want to wait, go to their Android site and flash it manually

They're rolling it out in stages, so the servers dont fry.

Sony do a 6month cycle.

But Z4 is the start of an annual cycle now.

"The Japanese company is reportedly dropping the idea of bi-annual flagships it adopted from last year with the Xperia Z and Z1. A major reason could be the fact that flagship devices have reached a sort of saturation point and there aren’t any huge advancements that can be made in a six-month period. The upgrade from Xperia Z2 to Xperia Z3 this year was quite marginal and the only changes were related to software and hardware optimization.
