Im on tmobile and owe $190 left on my phone. I have to pay that if I want to cancel. I have the LG2

was thinking of paying that off, and switching carriers and getting a newer cheap phone for a penny/dollar/$50 on contract for black friday. Like the LG3, HTC M8 or whatever good they have. Then keeping my LG2 to mess with as a little tablet.

Nay or Yay?

No offense breh but this is why I never considered that no contract monthly payment thing, I could be stuck paying for a G2 and owing 200 bucks for it, I'd rather buy outright and so forth.

Second part, well price wise stick with tmobile, and probably get the s5, I wouldn't trust lg with updates yet and wouldn't mess with htc knowing their financial situation but if you can wait do so till next march and see with the s6 and m9 is like.

Second thought the m8 is a fine phone but almost a year old, if you can do outright cash and save that upgrade for a new joint to rock for the whole 2 years do that.

That note edge is fire though.

Sounds like a win to me especially with all the deals right now. That Sprint unlimited for $50 looking right.

I'm sero P I pay 58 a month after taxes but Sprint lowered the prices so much that they charge 60 for unlimited everything now, I don't even need Sero P anymore honestly. I use to pound my chest when cats found out I paid 58 compared to their 95 a month now:mjcry:

That's what Tmobile did, :mjlol:came though and made services reevaluate themselves:wow:

If ya'll wanna stay on top of android listen to android central podcast once a week, (saturday morning), short podcast usually a hour or less. I listen while I clean the house or excercise.

I had a M7 before the note 4, NICE PHONE but it's didn't have Spark which is Sprint band 26 for faster data so I had to sell it but it was a damn nice looking phone.

If you going with Sprint make sure DATA isn't your top priority, if you not a data fiend like that Sprint is fine. Sometime I can go miles with NO DATA AT ALL so be careful.

none taken. but I do get to keep the phone, and I just wasnt right with my funds at the time to outright buy the phone. the money left is just money I hadnt paid yet...so its still kinda the same as outright buying it. Like if I got a $600 phone from them and had to put $300 down, they'd divide the last $300 over 24 months..whenever I cancel I just pay the total I had left. :manny:

I dont really like the galaxy phones. but I did hear that the s5 was much more improved. I could wait till march, but if I have to wait ill just get a Nexus 6. I was only contemplating this cause of the black friday deals. these deals wont be available in march

Cool

1. Probably skip on the S5, it wasn't reviewed well and the M8 is reviewed higher, just remember no removable battery.
2. I'd probably pass on the Nexus 6, it's bigger than the note 4, also Marques Browlee thinks it's okay, not special, I gotta feeling he prefers the note 4.

I usually listen to Flossy Carter he's more what I consider real world usuage, I don't follow cacs like engadget, verge and none of them seriously, they're just time wasters to me.

Here's Floss unboxing of the Nexus 6

review of the note 4

G3 is nice depending on how much you liked the g2, g3 is a big improvement but people who it says it runs HOT.

check out his youtube channel and dig though, his videos are probably the best for us though.

I do really like the g2. The nexus has a 1440 screen tho.

Ill check those vids, just trying to take advantage of a good deal.

last post smh, I gotta find my keys

HTC M7 and M8 were some really good phones, both review a bit better than the s4 and s5, experts prefer the M8 over the s5 by a MILE. HTC get high praise for the body and build of the phone and sense 6 is faster than touchwiz (which still lags a little).

G3, never owned one, nice looking phone, good camera... don't like the software, too confusing and cheesy imo.

X is cool, not on Sprint and the price drops fast cuz it's not really a phone for the masses, mostly techies are into it so prices will drop quick.

If you considering a iphone 6 and wanna save bread go to sprint, 50 for life plan for new iphone 6 or plus owners, that's called eating well:takedat:

Just pay off the phone and sell it on Craigslist

Or give t-mobile back the phone and maybe they'll credit you the $190

Theb I'd use the $190 towards buying an no contract no carrier phone

Then just get a no contract plan

Oh the wack thing about metro piece of shyt is they charge you every time you switch your phone like a $15 dollar fee I think

With t-mobile you can just throw your sim card in any unlocked/t-mobile/metro phone

No carrier meaning it doesn't have any carrier bloatware installed in the phone

Like a nexus or one of those Google play edition phones

Samsung and t-mobile install all kind of dumb shyt on your phone

Nexus is nice and stripped down and clean so you add and customize it how you want

The reason I like bring your own phone prepaid plans is because a more affordable plan can always come along at any time and you want to be able to jump on it without being stuck in a contract

I use Google voice as my primary number so I never have to worry about porting my number but I don't think number porting is even a problem anymore

And I know carrier pay early termination fees for people but all that means is your jumping from one contract to another and your still stuck

I hate long term contracts

Check out this phone man I'm telling you. I'm so tempted to sell my phone and buy it. Might just wait for the next gen though

What's showbox again? Sounds familiar
