if you're gonna spend an extra $100 on a Galaxy S6 you're better off getting the normal one and doubling your internal storage capacity than getting the Edge one. The Note 4 Edge from how I understand it is extra pixels. the Galaxy S6 Edge is a curved regular screen around the edges so that edge part is part of the normal screen real estate.

I'm salty as fukk the M9+ isn't leaving China cause it's not much difference between the M8. & the M9 other than the cost and the split screen.

I like using my M7 to listen in my ride on Car mode so if the Harmon Kardon version is at least on the level of Beats or M9's Dolby digital, I'm copping the M8

They finally added background play for youtube

Now if you're listening to a song on YouTube and switch to another app the song will keep playing

Same goes for audio of videos

Been waiting for this forever

I'm pretty sure you could already do that by just playing a video in a web browser instead of the youtube app then just switching tabs or apps.

You can also do it on iOS by playing a video in Safari then pressing the home button to get out of Safari then bringing up the control center and pressing play on iOS it will even continue to play if you press the power button to turn the screen off.

Nah bro I just tried it out

I played a video in youtube on the chrome browser then once I hit the little app switcher button the audio stopped playing

This is one of the best features the youtube app has added in a while in my opinion

I'm using stock lollipop 5.1 btw

Boxed the Galaxy S6 back up and it's going back to the store tomorrow. I only got this iPhone 6 back in December but I'm too stuck in my ways now to go back to Android at this point. I'm unwilling to give up the music sync between my iPad, iPod Nano, and cell phone and let go of all that metadata from iTunes. Switching back to Android meant having to manually manage my music on my phone and on my iPad / iPod. Too inconvenient. Also the fact that it would have cost me $800+ a few months after I spend $900+ on the iPhone didn't help either.

I liked the multi-window functionality, liked the smart unlock with Bluetooth devices too. The screen was way better as well. The customization was a put-off though but I never really was that big on Android's customization aspects.

why not just pay for a music streaming service and/or upload your library to google play?

Can anyone help me with this: an update on my tablet added the ability to split screen apps. But when I view all the tabs i have open, when I long press an opened tab, it doesnt ask to remove it from the list anymore. It just tries to add the app to dual apps. How can I change it?

after playing with the s6 for a few days i miss a lot of features from the S4.. mainly the shortcuts from the lock screen and pushing the mnu button to get the options to pop up.

now i gotta click the menu button like an iphone.. gonna take some getting used to

how much of this is samsung and how much is lollipop?
