I'm on 4.2.2 and the radio/signal strength appears to be significantly improved

Bluetooth streams much better audio (no dropping/losing connection)

Display appears to be the same.. Meh

Just got my charging orb in the mail...

I love it so far

I lost my N4 at work this week brehs
But thank God for Lookout security cause it helped me pinpoint it's
location.

Everybody needs lookout mobile security

This has been a Public service announcement

CM shyts on stock Android.. now shut the fukk up.

shyts on stock android get the fukk outtahere....CM always had gps lock issues and app crashes....stock is superior. Just because CM gives you more option doesnt mean thats its better. CM is better than android skins thats about it. you are acting like CM even add anything thats drastic to stock android....CM wont ever go on my nexus device thats the end of that. if yall want to run it go ahead not me

As far as wanting things to just work... I'd have to disagree. But the CM team held me down while my old phone's manufacturer left me behind so I'll never bad mouth them.

4.2.2 hasn't shown up on my Nexus 4 yet, but I got it like 3-4 days ago on my Nexus 7 :dwillhuh:

Check for the update under about phone if you haven't already. If that doesn't work... guys at xda were saying you can clear the data and force stop google framework services (under all apps) and then go back and try system update again. Try that a few times I guess. If that don't work then head over to xda and read up on how to flash it manually.

do the force update

Go to Settings > Apps (or Applications) and select show All. Then find Google Services Framework and click the Clear Data button. Then click the Force Stop button.

click check now...if it doesnt show up...turn on airplane mode then wifi then check again...u might have to reboot.

after you get the update go back into settings----> apps----> clear the data for play store app data and play store services app

You a brand new nikka that got on when android got good. I keep telling you that nikkas in this thread been on android since the G1, when android was still diapers. To you CM is just some custom software that adds features to a now feature full, stable and visually pleasing version of android. CM paved the way for the OS features you have today. Please quit acting like you know shyt or you can fukking relate.

I love stock android, it's the most advanced smartphone OS on the market, but please don't sit there and act like it's without flaws.

Lockscreen widgets, quick settings, double finger swype etc. are just a few examples of poorly implemented features. These are fixed and made to function much more intuitively in CM. The goal of a smartphone OS is to be as fluent, intuitive, and as fast as possible. Getting more shyt done with less steps. If you're gonna implement something make sure it's done right. Volume rocker track skip, custom quick settings, single swype quick settings access, quick reply, lock screen shortcuts, tap to toggle, expanded locksreen widgets etc. are just a few exmaples of why custom ROMs are better. Some of the features you'll :dwillhuh: over in the next version of android are features that we've been using for a while now. Nothing is wrong with stock, but for those of us who know how much easier custom ROMs make our interactions with our devices and wanting to get the most of our hardware, please don't try to sell us that stock is the superior experience bullshyt, we've been there and done that.

:rudy: I came to android when the original evo got released. CM was necessary when android phones had weak hardware specs. first off there is nothing wrong with the android 4.2 gesture typing. i have had zero issues so far. The 4.2 lock screen looked dumb because developers didnt update their apps to work with day dreaming and lock screen widgets. Now that the android engineer gave us that piff we are all eating off the lock screen. We all know google work in beta form. they throw out an idea then work on it and refine it. They always do this and they wont stop doing it. google now day 1 vs now?? The quick settings is in beta form. it will be overhauled in android 5.0. google is busy working behind the scenes too bring us that crack. they are giving us the best devices and the best software....and you want to give CM all this credit :rudy:

what the hell i look like putting CM on my nexus 4 and it has zero issues. My rooting & roming days are over. 4.2.2 is the best OS out there. I dont care for the extra features homie. I can install apps for toggles, battery monitor etc...lock screen widgets gives me everything i want right there.

I had an evo and said android had many holes that they closed up 2 years ago now get off my dikk. Everybody will agree that ios was better up until ICS. I went from an evo to a galaxy nexus for a reason.....i didnt know what i was missing not using a nexus phone....my beef wasnt really with android but with Sense ya bish.
