Just got a Verizon Galaxy Note 2 from Craigslist for $400, he wanted $500 for it but couldn't resist the cash I guess.


Problem I am having with it though is when I am connected to wifi it acts like I don't have a network. It says searching for service and I can't make calls or send texts but I can do everything else. If I turn wifi off then restart the phone everything works fine. Only have the problem when I have wifi on.


Any suggestions? I've been through the settings over and over and did two factory resets to no avail.

go to wifi advancing settings and look for anything uncheck.....avoid poor connection should be unchecked...always keep wifi during sleep. check your mac address and ip address. back out then hit scan and wait for your wifi

Been out of the loop for a while. What are the go to apps for popular sites (facebook/twitter, etc.) and what are some can't live without apps (Tapatalk )

The only things I have in advanced wi-fi are these

When launching high-data usage applications, connect to known Wi-Fi networks when Wi-Fi is off. Unchecked

MAC address

IP address
Unavailable

Yes i studied business for 4 years. How does this HP tablet make them competitive against the nexus 7, amazon kindle or ipad mini?? I love the openness of android but its also the platform downfall. They are nothing but fukkkery thats coming out of CES and MWC. The nexus 7 is almost at 5 million sold by word of mouth. Npbpdy in their right mind is going to buy this. The new nexus 7 is coming out with android 5.0. so refresh my memory how is HP being competitive. They jacked the nexus 7 and add a micro sd slot and beats audio smh....

nexus devices are the barometer. 169$ for some bullshyt low specs tablet with android 4.1. you know whats a good tablet beside the nexus?? the note 8. it brings something new to the table. yes its a bigger note 2 but it serves a purpose. All these new tablets are no different than the off brand ones at wal mart. BTW HP is not making any money look at their sales went up 2%.
