well my moms L9 is at 46%

1d and 17hrs on time since charging

she should be more than happy with the battery life, she obviously isnt a power user but I was worried she'd have to charge the phone alot more

The call quality is superb, she sounds much better than when she called me on her BB Curve. Just ordered her a impact case of ebay with a stylus and screen protector for about 11 bucks

They will charge their device if you tell them. I had someone like that and convinced them to charge their device

I do:yeshrug:

but you would know that since you paying my bill right?

said the verizon CFO :pachaha::beli:

Verizon CFO: 'Unlimited is just a word, it doesn't really mean anything'
So what customers are understanding and through our good sales routine is once you explain to a customer their usage on a monthly basis, unlimited is just a word, it doesn't really mean anything and that people don't really -- I think a lot of consumers think they consume a lot more data than they really do. So that whole unlimited thing I think is going by the wayside and they see the benefit of going to the shared.

Sprint's Galaxy S4 getting an OTA update, apps-to-SD support and Samsung Knox are notable additions

The 357MB update may hold a locked bootloader as a requirement for Samsung Knox support -- hackers beware

The Samsung Galaxy S4 on the Sprint network is seeing a general rollout of the MF9 update, and it has a few welcome changes baked in. Users who have already received the update have noticed the following changes:

* Allow apps to be moved to the SD card in the same limited fashion as the European S4
* The addition of Samsung Knox
* Smart Pause toggle in the notification panel
* A legibility setting for the display
* Status bar transparency now works with custom wallpapers
* The addition of a briefing app, and an SPDclient app
* A potentially locked bootloader

The first and last items on the list will get the most attention from the community, we're sure. As of now, nobody is certain that the bootloader is locked, but speculations are running high and the bootloader was updated along with the modem and kernel. A locked bootloader could very well be a requirement for Knox support.

The apps-to-SD card support will be a welcome change, as Samsung has caught some heat for the amount of free space left on the device compared to the amount advertised. You can see a tutorial on how this works right here.

If you're rooted or have a custom recovery installed, you won't be able to install this OTA. You'll need to revert back to factory settings or wait it out for the custom version from your favorite developer. If you're into the whole root and ROM thing with your Sprint S4, you might even want to wait until the bootloader's lock status is confirmed.

Based on the design of Apple’s budget iPhone, we have made an Android
version called the Basic Bear. It rocks a 4 inch display (1136 x 640),
1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB storage, 8
megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2 megapixel camera w/ 1080p HD
video recording, Qi-wireless charging expansion slot, 2300 mAh
battery, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, and much more. The best part? It
costs just $199, and comes in 5 vibrant colors.

Google Glass XE7 update includes hidden music player, app store, lock screen, and more

The music player appears to be dedicated to showing what’s “Now Playing,” and given the lack of storage on Glass, it seems like it will be able to interface with an external iPhone or Android device. The update also includes a handful of labs features, which are features not yet meant for primetime and for developers to play with.

There are lots of people who have unlimited data on their Verizon plans because they are grandfathered in and they buy their phones outright, thus negating the need to transfer to the new tiered plans.
