Android 4.3 : Big under the hood changes which improves the performance.

1. Touchscreen driver was updated to E028 version, which is making a big improvement of the experience touching the screen, if you usually use the visual keyboard a lot, you should happy with this update, BTW, Google keyboard now have emoji groups.

2. OpenGL driver was updated, due to some games FPS is huge improved. Screen flicking issue in some apps was gone too. Furthermore, the display screen color seems much more vivid.

3. Bluetooth low energy was supported, also the Google music play now streams MP3 tags to car audio and other handsets.

4. The low level of Audio module was updated again, in Android 4.3 the audio latency is 40ms, which is 86ms in Android 4.2.2.

5. Autocomplete function in the dialer. Just the same as the function in CyanogenMod named “T9-dialer”.

6. Series Google apps updated: Google Keyboard, Google Now, Google Keep, Google Play store (v4.2.3).

7. Stock font (Roboto) was updated, optimized for big screens and high DPI devices.

9. New feature in Gallery: Improved photo editor, read more in our Android 4.3 Gallery Editor Review.

you're probably just used to iOS. don't let these people fool you. there isn't really much you can do on an Android device that you can't do an an iPhone and vice versa. these phones run the same apps by the same developers and many of them are designed the same way. iOS isn't really simpler than Android. You can lay out icons on an Android home screen just like iOS and use it that way.

are you serious lol....Android and ios are way different. Share is a big 1, downloading files to your device =priceless, changing the keyboard, making a 3rd party app the default, Led notification notifer like light flow, lock screen widgets, sideloading apps, running custom roms, clicking active links to launch an app action, google now all over the device with pop ups and such, better hardware and software etc

Want to flash the OTA 4.3 on my Nexus 4 but guys on XDA confirmed that the current Netflix app puts the phone in deep sleep mode when you cut off the screen. :scusthov:

Hope they fix that soon...can't let 4.3 get between me and my ChromeCast :whew:

Since the spec warriors on here like talking about specs and bench performance... wait to you see how the Moto X outperforms a Nexus 4 running 4.3.

You got an N4 right? How much better do you think the X performs?

Might have to cop that X soon and I don't mess with moto like that...

none of that stuff is core functionality. its not like you're saying this phone has a camera and this one doesn't. you're talking about things like keyboards. can i type on iOS yeah can i type on Android yeah so a third party keyboard meh.

sure Android is more customization but in terms of core functionality you can do the same things on both devices. it used to be that you couldn't use Google Turn-By-turn navigation on iOS but it even has that now. iOS has Google Now in the search app.

people are going to have their personal preferences but like i said you can do the same things on both devices. the methods of doing them may be different but the same core functionality is present in both. the only noticeable absence i've felt was downloading files over the air but even on Android that was something i seldom used.

it is core functionality are you retarded. Just because you use your android shytty nook tablet like an ios device doesnt mean that they are no differences. How is me sharing stuff to more than twitter and facebook not a big deal. How is me setting chrome as my default or another browser not a big deal foh. can you swipe type on ios?? small ass keyboard. Can you do mobile payment?? can you do wireless charging?? the iphone is 640p screen. we are at 1080p. you can even see your notification without pressing a button. air gestures and led light>>>>

sideloading apps>>>> i just sideloaded moto x new camera

These are core functions stop the fukkery

Yeah, I have a N4 right now. If you already have a Nexus 4 I would not buy it because the phones are similar so it's not really an upgrade. The Nexus 4 has better specs and the MotoX has better software and it's optimized a lot more.

Motorola is now part of Google so it's a fresh start. Guess what? People said the same thing about LG when the Nexus 4 was announced and released, but that did not stop them from buying the phone.
