hey guys,

i'm trying to get my mom a tablet for her birthday, immediately thought of getting the Nexus 7. Any of you have some recommendations, or should the Nexus 7 be good?

We have a an Ipad (son), Nexus 7 (me) and a Kindle Fire HD (wife)

And the Nexus is probably the most user friendly and easiest to use of them all. I got the Kindle for my wife last year cause she insisted that whats she wanted. But last week she said she wish she would have just gotten a Nexus 7.

which nexus do you own lol....you have to be specific in android land bruh

to save battery turn off gps, sync if you dont need email or facebook notifications (its running in the background all day eating up the battery), turn down the brightness level to 35% and turn on auto brightness, In poor coverage area put your phone on airplane mode (tunnels, trains, work etc)

run the gsam battery app and see which app is eating up your battery

Anyone thinking of making the switch from the iPhone to the Xperia Z? That's the only phone that would have me move over
