I've not looked at the Motorola phones as far as specs outside of screen size, but the software seems great.

I am very interested to see how well it sells then. Because by your posting as well as other posts, there's no reason why this should'nt go toe to toe with not only the iPhone but the S4.

are you retarded?? The moto X is google and moto experimenting saying we dont need high end specs aka LG G2 to create a great device. LG G2 is specs are ridiculous. ITs turning into the PC days of high specs but bloated software. Android is scaling itself back dummy. Google want others to slow down. HTC went left with their device. They offered a new device. Nexus 4 is still the best performing android phone outside of the google edition phones. Moto X will sell like the htc one did because it will be on all carriers plus affordable. If you want a 1080p screena nd the latest specs then go spend 700$ for a google edition editon simple

Normal people who buy galaxy devices dont care about specs....you think the small minority of android spec whore is the majority??? iphone wouldnt be around if that was the case.

This does'nt make any sense because the iPhone and all Apple devices sell well because they're Apple devices and they were the "it" devices anytime they dropped.
What about the Moto X makes it an "it" device that people want to go out and cop?

maybe this was addressed earlier in the thread, but has anyone heard about galaxy s3 and s4 phones corrupting and causing microsd cards to fail? i know sandisk copped to manufacturing a shytload of defective cards, but i keep reading about other brands' cards failing as well, mainly class 10 microsd cards

Iphone has always been behind in the specs department but their phones has always ran up to par (or even better) than a lot of Android top tiered phones. Their dual core phones are up there with a lot of android quad core phones in the performance department. So I'm guessing Android is trying to narrow the gap with their optimization. We'll see if they succeed once all of the tests drop.
And in reality, there shouldn't even be a discussion about sales when it comes to a particular android phone. Especially when it's coming directly from google. That's never been their plan.
