Got 4.4 for my Nexus 7

I'm not getting Hangout notifications on my Nexus 4, but get them on my Nexus 7 instead. I have notifications turned on. I carry my phone with me more than my tablet, so I'll go hours on end missing messages. Anyone know what's going on?

have you tried to uninstall from both phone and tablet, then reinstall first on your phone.

and is it just me, or does it take forever to notify you that you have a message?

I've been trying to dump handcent because for some reason, I get duplicates of every picture I receive, but I never seem to get timely notifications from Hangouts.

have you tried to uninstall from both phone and tablet, then reinstall first on your phone.

Seems like this worked. I initially only tried doing it on my phone, but did it on my tablet as well. Props breh

Just bought the Samsung Chromebook. shyt is sleek and I really like it so far.

I'd recommend the s4. The note 3 is a slightly better phone but not worth the extra dollars you would pay for it. That is if you dont want to wait until next year for the heat to drop.
