NOKIA NORMANDY SHOWS UP AT VIETNAMESE RETAILER, CLAIMS GOOGLE PLAY ACCESS

The Nokia Normandy has continued to make its way to market, with the latest being the handset’s appearance at the largest Vietnamese online retailer The Gioididong.com.

There they confirm the previously released specs, including a 4 inch FWVGA 480×854 pixel screen, 5 megapixel camera, a 1 Ghz dual-core processor and 512 MB RAM and 4GB Storage.

The also make the unexpected claim that the dual-SIM handset will be able to access Google Play, Google Now and YouTube, but it could be that they are simply cutting and pasting from the usual specs of any Android handset.

What is pretty interesting about the specs is of course that Windows Phone 8 would run even more happily on the handset than Android, suggesting the device is either a response to consumer demand for Android or a new approach to reaching a large audience with Android, rather than an attempt to release an even cheaper smartphone than the Nokia Lumia 520.

So I thought my cursor jump happens in the browser in any field capable of multiple lines of text....but I just tried some other forums and Facebook and the issue didn't persist. So ya, it's just the coli

Another issue that seems to be coli specific is I can only select a single of my typed text in a field. I can't expand it to select a whole sentence or paragraph. I have no problem selecting text in published posts, just in the field I'm trying to type. Anybody experiencing that issue?




I hate manually typing, but even then, auto correct causes the corrected word to jump to some weird point

My solution is to press enter a few times....for some reason, it corrects itself after that.

Nope just the Coli for me. Just about every browser I like has the issue. Only ones that work consistently are Chrome and Opera. The developer in me wants to investigate the issue, but I never do

i am kinda tempted to get the 16gb moto g for 199 and some change............ but (i know this is cliche as fukk) i really wish it had a SD card- dont want my 32gb sdcard just wasting away sitting there collecting dust

I own the Moto G and it's worth it. Storage is not a problem for me because I don't see music on my phone.

Battery life on nexus 5 is actually alright. And it charges fast

your spamming and hate for dude is at an obsessive level my dude. I lurked here and sohh for years, this was one of my favorite threads until you started your campaign against rbk/rohiggidy, now its just unproductive and annoying.

even though he is stubborn and annoying, its easier to just ignore it then to make the thread even worse. thats all i have to say on the matter...

For those who have a nexus device but still like the option of having an sd card. Always have it on the key chain.
