The show has been running on fumes for about 4 seasons now.
Wonder what DC property CW will replace it with?

You're right, I'm watching the shyt but at the same time I haven't been invested for a while.
For so long they plagued us with going into the past and now they're trying to be on some future shyt, as soon as I saw that I knew it was only a matter of time before they pull the plug.

I give it props because had a good run and helped kick off this current comic book show era

8 seasons is a hell of a run and its good to see the show go out on its own terms . 10 episodes for the final season means that every episode should count and I see them going out with a bang.

They probably knew this was the end before they determined that Crisis would be the next crossover event and are just now formally announcing it. He’ll obviously sacrifice his life for Flash’s next season but I think it’s always a good sign when shows know when it’s gonna end versus being cancelled... at least there will be some finality.... which is probably why they went with the flash forward concept starting now. Now I’m starting to wonder if the flash forward stuff is gonna eventually tie into the ending of season 8 or if it’s taking place in another timeline
