Thats what im saying though, Atlanta don’t be having deep ass on-going plot lines. Almost every episode is like this. Thats why i prefer the self-contained episodes not related to the main cast

Actually, there was a similar scene to this in Dave where he gives her texts (after they break up) and he was hoping she'd say something back of substance but instead she replies to Dave with a thumbs up sign instead. Even a text saying "I'm fine Earn, don't worry about me" woulda been better than a thumbs up.
