One poll and they need to explain how they got their likely voter screen going. Big outlier. Tightening not being seen in many state or other polls - yet.

Donald Trump plans to debate Joe Biden despite rule changes

The nonpartisan Commission on Presidential Debates announced Monday that the second and final debate between the two candidates will have each nominee muted while the other delivers his two-minute remarks at the outset of each of the six debate topics. The remainder of each 15-minute block will be open discussion, without any muting, the commission said.
Desperate for that Biden stimulus :wow: he needs the ratings :wow:

Maybe I'm a complete idiot who needs to be negged but Joe Buck sounded completely sarcastic.

Troy Aikmans dikk might have been hard however

These days It’s really hard to tell whether people are sarcastic or not. We’re gonna see people’s true intentions very soon. You can probably google his political views.

Many more details here. They're possibly out on a limb with who they sampled for likely voters. Their numbers are much tighter in certain subgroups than just about everybody else.

https://www.investors.com/news/trum...ns-like-2016-ibd-tipp-2020-presidential-poll/

But remember, the Biden campaign DID say the race was tighter than believed and I said I didn't think they were just running game. :jbhmm:
Maybe I just don't know enough but the race tightening this fast after record early voting is sus to me

Bruh this shyt is bunk. No poll is moving 8 points in one week. I'm not going to take it seriously.

I'm not an expert but their sampling looks a lot more volatile to me. They have had outlier results all over the place this election cycle.

"The daily update of the IBD/TIPP 2020 election poll reflects a survey of 1,197 registered and 1,046 likely voters, from Oct. 15 through Oct. 19. The weighted party split of likely voters includes 385 Democrats, 339 Republicans and 308 independents.

The Biden vs. Trump poll likely voter sample has a credibility interval of +/- 3.2 percentage points. IBD's polling partner TechnoMetrica applies a multimodal approach using "traditional" telephone methodology, with live interviewers supplemented by online surveys. Each day approximately 200 interviews with registered voters are conducted, of which 125 are from telephone and 75 from online. In the telephone sample, roughly 65% of interviews come from a cellphone sample and 35% from a landline sample."

My qs would be: who are they reaching, how do they determine who's a likely voter? If they're modeling after 2016, I'd say yeah, give me a lot of salt as I consider this.
