Im still sad that Carlos Delgado and Roy Halladay never made the playoffs together as Blue Jays
It was almost impossible to make it in that era when you had peak Yankees and Red Sox. Plus, there was less spots to get in. It made sense why so many teams had long droughts before making the playoffs recently

The crazy thing some of those teams were more talented than this team

Lukes, Barger, ikf, straw, Clement, Schneider these are just avg brehs. The Ryan goins, Kawasaki type brehs

Vlad, Kirk, bichette, Springer only guys who are every day type of players

The late 1990s/2000s were such a bad era for the Franchise

Belgian subsidiary company Interbrew being cheap and literally treating the Jays as an afterthought/ rounding error until Rogers bought the team in 2004 or 2005

Then every season, the depressing realization that the Red Sox and Yankees would both either win the division and/or get the only wildcard playoff spot in the AL. Orioles, rays( then the devil rays) and the jays were perpetual bridesmaids every year.

The frustration and false promises of the early 2010s

Then the renaissance in 2015-16. The passion for baseball returns to Toronto and Canada

After that a period of rebuilding/sucking then the current Bo bichette/Vladdy era

Our patience and loyalty have been finally rewarded after all these years

I was a baby shirting in my diapers when the jays won back to back WS titles . I was too young to understand anything . This is the First time ever in my life as a fan that they have won the AL pennant.
This is my moment, my time finally arrived. You have no idea of how much it means to me
. GO JAYS GO!!!

It's one of those you never know type of things. I think it was 2006 where I felt that team was very good and had a chance. However, back then was just tough where you can't go on any slumps or you'll miss out.
