Blue Jays really lack an ace to go toe to toe with anyone. If they dont beat Glasnow itll be an uphill battle.
Game 3 on Monday night is a must win for Toronto because they will face glasnow, who is their most beatable starting pitcher. Jays will face ohtani in game 4 on Tuesday night, snell again in game 5 on Wednesday night, and then maybe Yamamoto again if there’s a game 6 on friday night.

If there’s ever a Game 7 in this series next Saturday , they might face Glasnow again and ohtani/snell will pitch in relief that night on short rest if needed. Then they will face the closers sasaki and treinen

We literally watched an otherworldly performance with Yamamoto. Not just back to back complete WS games since 2001 Curt. But the only complete game this season against the Jays. And Gausman was there with him. Just saw they were both top 5 ever in consecutive batters retired (20 for Yama, 17 for Gaus)

Gaus held up just couldn't get any run support.

Cant call Monday, hoping Mad Max brings the heat again, but Tuesday I do see Shohai and Biebs both getting teed up on. :pachaha:

The Blue Jays just can’t get to a point where they have a game facing elimination where Yamamoto can be on the mound. If the Dodgers win the Glasnow/Ohtani starts don’t think they go to Yamamoto in game 5 to try to avoid going back to Toronto? Or do you go back to Snell knowing they have Yamamoto in their pocket?

I don’t actually think that’s going to be the case, I think the Jays take at least one of the next two.

Baseball will be on my mind until our season is over and the world series is over, I can’t help it, I’m stuck on it.

The regular season games of the Maple Leafs/Raptors/NFL/Arsenal can wait until next Sunday lol. October 2025 belongs to the Jays for now. From November 4th on my focus will be on other sports for sure but now the jays come first.

@Ohene

In the last decade, your favorite teams all won titles, made you happy and gave you unforgettable/iconic memories

Golden state warriors: 2015, 2017, 2018, 2022- the splash brothers( Steph and klay), draymond green, Kevin Durant, Andre iguadola, Zaza pachulia, Harrison Barnes, Andrew Wiggins, Kevin looney, etc

Toronto Raptors: 2019( against your own warriors lol)

Coach Nick nurse

The 2019 raptors starting five : Kyle lowry , Kawhi Leonard, Danny green, Marc gasol, pascal siakam.

The Bench players: serge ibaka, Fred van vleet, Norman Powell, Jeremy Lin, Patrick mccaw, Chris Boucher.

Philadelphia Eagles: 2017-18, 2024-25 Super Bowl titles. Nick foles and Jalen hurts the QBs. The Philly special and the tush push

Blue Jays might win the WS maybe this year in 2025

NHL, I guess you support the Leafs?

What is your football(or soccer) team?

Do you support a national team in soccer/football during the World Cup ?

You wont have to worry about any of that cause there isnt going to be a game 6/7

dodgers are about to put belt to ass

If you remember it 6 years ago, the raptors also won their games in the same pattern during the nba finals. Toronto won games #1, #3, #4 and #6 while the golden state warriors won games #2 and #5.

Hopefully history will repeat itself for the blue jays this year.
