I'm thinking about moving up to the oakland area... looking for some nice areas mostly condos/apartments to live.. need to some nice areas rest my head

Castro Valley, San Leandro, Dublin, Pleasanton, Orinda, Lafayette are the best east bay cities to live in for a somewhat reasonable price. Alameda also is a great city to live in. Alameda is right next to Oakland but the difference between the cities are night and day. Almost like comparing Beverly Hills to Compton.

The music scene in L.A is definitely popping better than the Bay. L.A is where you want to be. Much more competition there though.

I grew up in Inglewood all my life.. even tho there is a black population, the numbers continue to drop..

Plus my job wants me up in the bay.. but it's up to me if I move...

The political power for blacks here in L.A. isn't the same anymore..

I'd consider lemiert park for sure
