On opencritic or metacritic, anything 75 and up is considered good at worst. Below 75 is when it's start to venture into average or bad, yet there are some games in the 70s range below 75 still considered good by users. You are applying your standard to everyone.The gaming community
But again what are they basing that off of? They didn't play that game either? People are just chasing confirmation bias when it comes to these games instead of just purchasing it for themselves and forming their own opinion. I have never let a game reviewer dictate what games I choose to play. There is a game talked about in this thread that scored above 85 yet is considered trash.

There are games that scored around that that sold well and is vouched for by people who played the games. To you that score is trash, on opencritic and metacritic that is considered a good game at worst. I've never seen someone say 78 is generally agreed to be a bad game.

I get the arguments but let's really be real for just a second:
Do you really wanna spend $60-70 on a 6/10 or 7/10?
Technically 7.8. Could round to 8/10. 6/10 would be exactly 60 or 60 range, 7/10 would be below 75 or exactly 70.
