I’ve been reading reviews. Storage loot limitations is very concerning.

But again what are they basing that off of? They didn't play that game either? People are just chasing confirmation bias when it comes to these games instead of just purchasing it for themselves and forming their own opinion. I have never let a game reviewer dictate what games I choose to play. A majority of the time people clown them because they suck at playing games or they have to rush through it to meet a deadline.

Reviews are guides, people can’t play everything so you gotta use confirmation bias with a lot of these games, also there’s no rule that you have to buy it day one and be disappointed you took a leap of faith.

And im not even saying a 78 or lower is a bad score, i just think this game looks bland and incoherent in a weird way. What the reviewers are actually saying are way more important than just the score

Depends on the person. 78 is only 2pts away from 80, and there a number of games with an 80 score that people played day 1.

I get the arguments but let's really be real for just a second:

Do you really wanna spend $60-70 on a 6/10 or 7/10?

If it had zero bugs and the boss battles are well reviewed, yes . That doesn't seem to be the case with this one though

But I ain't gonna lie, if I don't have any games in 1-2 months and they release a solid patch, or more reviews come in for the PS5 version without relevant bugs I might cope it anyways

Naw it also depends on the reasons for the 78. In this case it seems to be over things that can be fixed over time. So def wait for a sale.

Metacritic has usually been on point to me. YES there are outliers, but for me it’s usually pretty accurate. I had a few games where I was convinced MC was on some bullshyt, like FF15.. but once I finished it, the score was even higher than it deserved. I’m not wasting 70+ hours on a 7.5. Not saying 7.5 is bad either, just not good enough for my time for a game of this magnitude which would put a lot of my real life responsibilities lagging behind.

For me, a 7.5 is usually good if it’s a game in a genre or by a dev you really fukk with.

Like i love mutant year zero but that game is a 7 ass 7 game, i also wouldn’t have paid 60 or 70 for it

I’ve had fun with games that weren’t that high in rating but I also bought them shyts way after the fact.

Dbz kakarot is like 73 on MC and I always go back and play that game when I want a DBZ fix. But I also got it for like 20 bucks

This was a huge red flag for me. I love hunting for collectibles and looting in open world games. To limit storage in a way that you gotta make multiple trips to move things until you upgrade is BS.
