Spitta heads, what should I check after these 3? Pilot Talk was my intro, which I liked, but slept on a little bit minus a few songs like King Kong, Breakfast, and The Day, and I kind of missed Pilot Talk II.

Then Covert Coup is what really made me appreciate Currensy b/c I'm such a big ALC fan, and repeat listens really made me appreciate the raps a lot more. I've bumped PT2 and CC pretty heavy this week, and I listened to that Cigarette Boats EP. There's just so much out there. Any recommendations on what to check out next? Also, Pilot Talk III is all Ski again, right?

This Aint No Mixtape (TANM) and Weekend at Burnies are both dope, official releases. Both albums were done exclusively by Monsta Beats of "Roasted" and "Fashionably Late" fame. Really jazzy upbeat records in the Neptunes lane. Some of my favorite Curren$y music on those albums. TANM has a lot less weed talk than his newer records. it made me a fan instantly.

His mixtape Smokee Robinson. That was the mixtape that made me really pay attention to him. Prior to that I just listened occasionally.

Thanks fellas! Yeah I'll check them out. It probably sounds stupid that I enjoyed PT 1 and 2 and CC for so long mostly because of the overall sound. I'm almost always a production head first though. Even though I could rap every word of Covert Coup because I've bumped it so much, but I didn't appreciate his skills as much until the past couple weeks. I thought he was just a cool dude to listen to but I think he might be turning into one of my favorite rhymers. There's a lot of layers I think I was missing.
