already gave an actual answer, and it's probably not too far off. A lot of this stuff depends on the person. For example, even back in the days of producers making fukk you money, Kanye's Get By beat was for Mariah Carey, and Kanye intended to charge around a good 70k+ for it. Her label easily would've probably paid that fee at the time. But he ended up giving the beat to Kweli, probably for much less, but still probably a good 10k.

A lot of times these days, if someone is doing a whole project, they'll take a lot less, or sometimes even do it for next to nothing. I know of producers that will sell beats for less if it's literally cash money, and charge more if it's a check.
