Players who have dug deep into Destiny‘s source code have reportedly discovered a new competitive multiplayer playlist, known only as “Trials of Osiris.”
“Trials of Osiris” will purportedly take place on Mercury, which is a planet that has not yet been explored in regards to Destiny‘s story.
“Trials of Osiris” will consist of a 3 vs. 3 Skirmish mode.
You can read Destiny‘s “Trials of Osiris description (and additional details) after the break.

Destiny‘s “Trials of Osiris” description is as follows:
“Trials of Osiris (Skirmish): 3v3. You have caught the eye of Osiris. Venture to Mercury and prove yourself as one of the Crucible’s elite. Only the worthy may face the Trials of Osiris, for only the worthy are strong enough to endure what is to come. A string of victories will earn great rewards – but lose three times and you’re out.”
Additionally, it appears that “Trials of Osiris'” map and playlist will only be available to access by earning a Tournament Ticket, which is a rare item drop that is acquired through scoring wins in the
Destiny‘s Crucible mode.
The Tournament Ticket will provide players access to the new “Trials of Osiris” playlist on Mercury, but only for the first 3 defeats, seeing as access to “Trials of Osiris'” PvP playlist is lost after that.
Players hoping to regain access to the PvP playlist must once again earn a new Tournament Ticket. Furthermore, gamers who survive longer in “Trials of Osiris” without being kicked out can expect to receive better, higher rewards in the game.
