Black coaches are getting fired without justification.

Caldwell is not the reason Matt Stafford is still making mistakes and holding back his Detroit's offense. Lewis is not the reason Andy Dalton struggles in Cincinnati. Both these QBs were mediocre before Caldwell and Lewis. Stafford has killed another coach.

Trying to hard for likes. Lewis was in Cinci while Dalton was playing Peewee

Carson Palmer was a good QB but he left. How is it Lewis' fault Cincy doesn't realize Dalton is an average QB? He's not the GM. Only QBs like Brady, Brees, Rodgers, in other words quarterbacks who can excel under pressure, are worth keeping. Flacco at one time was 6'6, strong arm and mobile. Defenders had a tough time bringing Flacco down. Pressure meanwhile turns Dalton into a dead fish. He's undersized and has an average arm.

Sounding more and more like Marvin Lewis is staying. Looks like I'll be done with the Bengals and the NFL for good y'all. Been a good run.

Marvin Lewis is not why Dalton is garbage. Trade that average QB and draft or sign someone else. Jimmy Garrapollo is better than Dalton. He was available. He turned winless SF into a good team. I don't get why people can't understand that slow QBs with weapons who fail to be top 10 every year are garbage, and will likely remain garbage. It's not like Dalton runs a 4.5 and has fast feet. He still can't sense pressure enough after 90+ games. He can't develop.

I'm curious if Patricia would make a good head coach or not. I knew the Lions would be asking for him for sure, but Giants could make a lot of sense too.

I'm thinking McDaniel may finally take a job now too. I thought he was 100% staying to Bill to retire and Brady to give way to Garrappolo, but since that's broken, he may move.

What makes you say the coordinators deserve the credit for their success instead of Jim? No beef, honest question

@Piff Perkins explains it perfectly. To speak more about this, the defense has always gotten the shaft in spending and has almost always outperformed expectations. The offense did good this year. 7th in scoring but we feast on cupcakes. We are not going to be able to point to one single thing but there are a lot of things that add up and they are very visible. You have to dare to be great and Caldwells conservative nature prohibits that. That is in addition to the faulty coaching decisions being made.

.....I mean do you even watch our team? I have my own feelings about Dalton and I don't think he's a great QB, but I think he's serviceable. And I wouldn't describe him as slow ever. Dude has sneaky white boy speed.

Our o-line was fukking garbage this year and the coaching staff had done a terrible job developing the tackles we drafted in the first and second round of the 2016 draft. Marvin refuses to play younger players over established veterans even when it is painfully obvious that they should play. He coddles certain players for no reason and is hesitant to make changes to his line up. William Jackson III has been one of the top CBs in all of football this season, but the only reason he got promoted to starter is because Pacman got injured. Dude's in game clock management is the worst in the league or next to it. He has no idea what to do with time outs or how to utilize them properly.

Nobody wants Marvin out because of the fukking QB situation. And even if you think that, Marvin never criticizes or calls out Andy for ANYTHINGGGGG. He throws every other fukking player under the bus as needed but Andy Dalton is never at fault. He's a nice guy and he's done some good things for kids in our community but he needs to fukking go. Dude's fire went out years ago.

Are whole system is garbage...The same system that kept Marvin for 15 seasons. We strive to be mediocre it’s like we are the NFL Grizzlies.

:ohhh: Well damn. I thought he was gonna step down and move into a front office job.

thats what we (fans) want....We appreciate him for what he brought the franchise but it's time to move in another direction...Having him become Team President or GM would be great since him and Brown are such "good" friends...
