Please do explain how you think things would have played out if she had told Jon. I already explained that if Ramsey knew the Vale was in the fold he would have never left castle and they had enough provisions to endure a multiyear siege.

It's unlikely that Jon would have heeded Sansa's advice (he explicitly stated she didn't know shyt about war tactics), however even if she was able to convince him to keep the Vale in his back pocket, do you really think that changes anything? Does Jon not go charging in to save Rickon in your version of events? Jon has gotten by with braun, but he does a lot of dumb shyt. From forcing his men to charge in after him (after Davos explicitly stated they had stay back cuz they were outnumbered) to getting Viserion killed so he could slay 10 more wights. I don't know why you're acting like Jon deserved to be trusted with that information. He either fukks it up bringing them in to early or things play out the same as they did.
How would Ramsey know that the vale was coming if Sansa told Jon?

It could have played out similar to how the battle happened, wait till Ramsey commits all his men then spring the trap. They wouldn’t have to have the vale on the battlefield beforehand.

What Sansa did was some snake in the grass shyt almost seemed like she wanted Jon to die so she could be warden in the north.

She hung out with Littlefinger long enough to know that the walls are listening. Probably figured secret wouldn't be safe. Another angle would have been Jon probably refusing to send a good chunk of his soldiers on a suicide mission as part of bringing the element of surprise against the Boltons.

A marriage fixes nothing. The northern houses would still be opposed to bending the knee and Dany would be the one on the throne. Marriage was supposed to be the solution to getting her allies. She did that without it. As far as Aegon and Dany know, they have plenty of time to work towards that. The alliance is already forged. Now it's a case of what Aegon will do with the info he just got about his parents and true status. If he wants the throne, there's gonna be problems. If they got married before he found out about it, there would still be problems unless Dany was willing to merely be his Queen instead of Queen Ruler.
:skip: First off, stop calling him Aegon. It's weird, like you're being a tryhard.
Second, marriage makes Jon king again, but over all seven kingdoms. He retains his lordship over the North that way.

If you think you're lonely now, ohhh girl...
All this bickering and the army of the dead is marching towards us!!!

That's indicative of how people are, though. If history has shown us anything -- it's that humans are still "human" even in the event of long prophesied pending doom, approaching.

You can even look at our current world, for example. How many people wake up everyday and think about "the big one" that's going to come from the San Andreas fault (eventually), or the continued melting of the ice caps and states in the lower half being underwater? Not many. Historically, we don't really CARE about shyt until its actually unfolding in front of us.

I like that the politics are still happening.

I just thought. What if Sansa finds out Jon's true parentage and outs it in front of all of the lords before Jon has a chance to tell Dany himself? Like maybe Jon asks Sansa for advice about it or either Bran tells Sansa himself...but Sansa decides to blow up the spot because fukk Dany:birdman:

Have Dany barking out orders and reciting her titles again "and ruler of the seven kingdoms":smugbiden:

and Sansa out of nowhere interrupts her like, actually Aegon Targaryan is the true King of the seven kingdoms:ufdup:

And Dany is all like Aegon is dead:usure:

And Sansa is like no he ain't:mjgrin:, he right there *points to Jon* and then says tell her Bran/Sam:mjpls:

And Bran and Sam confirm the shyt with receipts:hubie:

And all of the lords in the hall are :ohhh::whoo:while Dany is blindsided:mjcry:

OMG I want that drama. Please happen:ohlawd:

This is what needs ro happen!!! Everyone needs to know Jon is the true king. I'm gonna bw pissed if they keep it on the hush hush

Calling a nikka by the name his parents gave him has never been weird. Marriage doesn't make him king in anything but title alone. The Targaryen's had female rulers before. Marriage simply makes Aegon Dany's husband. She would still be the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms.

Sansa is now smarter, and still learning, but she's not a strategist. But she is a leader and is trying to show the importance of alliances, especially in the North. That's what she's learned from the Lannisters, Boltons, Lady Olena, her parents...that's what she's trying to get through to Jon. He doesn't care about any of that, and he really gets by on his honor - the same thing that got Ned killed. Ironically, it's also the same thing that Tyrion is trying to get through to Dany. Everything she says is really about survival of the North, because once again...no one gives AF about the White Walkers. I think what Arya & Sansa are trying to get through to Jon is that they're all they've got. Jon was never alone like them.

The Blackfish would have all these nikkas acting and thinking right.
Loved Blackfish's IDGAF attitude.
Still mad they brought him back for that pointless scene and off-screen death.:snoop:
Idk if I wanted to see a 70 year old man (IRL age of Clive Russell who played Blackfish) sword choreography.

I think Sansa is trying to look out for Jon, Starks and winterfell. Hopefully Jon's honor is not is downfall. it already cost him his life once. or at least if he's going to be honorable, he can be prepared for the worst in case nikkas start to plot.

Getting that feeling that Jamie is gonna be absolutely crucial down the stretch here ... I’m sure Bran knows his purpose, I wonder how they do this meetup. Seems like it’s going to be a Jamie heavy episode with the impending doom of the WWs coming through to close the episode out at the end
