Remember he told Jon 1 brother on the inside was worth 1000 fighting against the wildlings. He said if Jon "earned their trust" they would take him in. Qhorin knew Jon killing him was the only way that could happen.
He was Tryna get him in good with the wildlings. He told him a couple of epsiodes back there'd be a way to make up for getting the rest of their team killed, if he was willing to do what needed to be done. That was it. Now he's made, and has the enemy's trust.

luckily i copped the box set of books. prolly take me about that long to read all 5 of them anyways. just read in the 1st book the part where the kings council suggested using the faceless men to kill danyeras. jaquen is one of them!!! 
a couple questions:
-so was that the medic robb married?? couldn't tell who it was
-also, when osha and the gang came out of hiding, why was winterfell burned??? i thought the iron born were jus gonna give theon up and bounce back to the islands.
