Its a great show driven by the story/shock, of an obscure book that was lucky to get its full run while MUCH more popular properties get a season at best. With top talent and a yearly turn around.

This isn't true at all.

First, the United States is literally the BIRTHPLACE of the modern animation industry. Many animation techniques, styles, tropes, standards, etc started or were popularized in the US.

Second, Japanese animation/anime was originally influenced and inspired by American cartoons and animated movies (especially Disney).

Third and last, outside of some high level shonen (like Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer, etc). Most anime has about the same animation quality as most American cartoons (if not slightly lower).

Destroying the planet was actually a smart move when you consider how fanatical the Viltrumites are. That was their Meca. I think Thragg hit a eureka with Mark and earth. If a halfling could kill Conquest, that makes humans the only suitable other race to restart the empire.​
