Remember:

The Vietnam War made Democrats and the nation vote for Nixon.

The first Iraq War made Republicans and the nation vote for Clinton.

The last Iraq War made Republicans and the nation vote for Obama.

Keep thinking “this time is different” and it’ll be President Newsom. The immigration, urban and LGBT walkbacks and new policies are going to be :banderas:

Your move MAGA

This time probably is different though :francis: MAGA is a cult and has spent the last decades firmly attached to Trump's ass

They'll never turn on Trump under any circumstances.

Ukrainian girl who fled to Israel for leukemia treatment killed in Iranian strike

From CNN’s Ivana Kottasová, Daria Tarasova-Markina and Abeer Salman
A 7-year-old Ukrainian girl who traveled to Israel to get leukemia treatment after Russia attacked her home country was killed in an Iranian strike on the city of Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv, on Sunday, Israeli President Isaac Herzog announced on X.

Herzog said Nastya Borik was killed alongside four members of her family: her mother Mariia, 30, her grandmother Lena, 60, and her two cousins – Ilya, 13, and Konstantin, nine. Ukrainian authorities said Sunday that five Ukrainian citizens were killed in the attack, but they did not release any details.

Herzog said the family came to Israel in December 2022 because Nastya needed treatment. “Although she initially responded, the disease returned and a bone marrow transplant failed to stop the aggressive leukemia,” Herzog said.

“She came seeking life. Instead, she was murdered,” he added.

Mariia Pieshkurova, Nastya’s mother, shared frequent updates about Nastya’s treatment on her Instagram account, saying Nastya was first diagnosed in August 2022.

“Since that day, I have been living in a parallel reality where the main thing is to save her. To breathe. To not give up,” she said in a post in April.

According to Pieshkurova, Nastya had a relapse in September 2024 and then again in April this year.

Her last post was dated May 27. She wrote: “I will save my daughter, no matter what it takes … Because no one else will fight like I will. Because Nastya is my life. She is all I have. And as long as I breathe, I scream, I beg, I believe, I fight.”

Nastya’s father, Artem Borik, is currently serving in the Ukrainian army, fighting Russia on the front line in Ukraine, Herzog said.

They see American soldiers dying for Israel and a whole lot of tax dollars, that just changes tunes. Not to mention those incoming Chinese students Trump made a negotiation for and immigration being no better than under Biden.

Plus it’ll be Vance and not Trump running. I don my think Vance got the aura to hold a war with young American blood on his hands. They’ll take one look at his Brown wife make the Israel-India connection and turn their backs.

Trump brings a war and it’s over for them in 2026/2028.

Ofcourse they are celebrating. They are getting the goyim brute to do its dirty work once again.

They got us to fight Iraq and not one Israeli soldier died. :wow:

Israel did not participate as a combatant nation in the Iraq War (2003–2011), and no Israeli soldiers were deployed or killed in that conflict. Israeli troops were neither part of the U.S.-led coalition nor involved in military operations inside Iraq—so the number of fallen soldiers from Israel in the Iraq War is zero.

This is literally the Iraq crap over again

Netanyahu thanks Trump for supporting Israel

From CNN's Tamar Michaelis and Hira Humayun
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked US President Donald Trump for “standing by our side” as Israel pushes ahead with its fight against Iran.

In a video message shared by his office, Netanyahu thanked Trump for the “support the US has been providing us in defending Israel’s skies.”

He said the two leaders have spoken regularly, including a “very warm” conversation last night.

“I wish to thank President Trump for the backing,” the Israeli leader said, as he stressed that Israel is “severely hitting the Ayatollahs regime” as it damages Iran’s nuclear facilities, missiles and “symbols of power.”

Trump earlier declined to say whether he has made a decision on US military intervention in Iran.

US defense secretary: The military has "plans for everything" including post-strike scenarios for Iran

From CNN’s Haley Britzky
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told lawmakers today that the US military has “plans for everything,” including plans for the day after an attack on Iran.

“Have you commissioned any ‘day after’ planning? So, any force protection, any use of ground troops in Iran, any cost assessments. … Have you authorized ‘day after’ planning?” Democratic Sen. Elissa Slotkin of Michigan asked during the Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on Wednesday.

“As I’ve said, we have plans for everything, senator,” Hegseth said.

Hegseth repeatedly declined to get into specifics regarding his conversations about a potential US strike on Iran, telling lawmakers he wouldn’t disclose information in an open forum. Hegseth said Tehran had 60 days to accept a deal and they know “exactly what the president is saying.”

“They had an opportunity to make a deal, they should have made a deal,” Hegseth said. “President (Donald) Trump’s word means something … and at the Defense Department our job is to stand ready and prepared with options and that’s precisely what we’re doing.”

Israeli military targets Iran’s missile manufacturing capabilities

From CNN’s Tamar Michaelis and Hira Humayun
Israel is targeting Iran’s missile manufacturing capabilities, according to Israel Defense Forces spokesperson Effie Defrin.

Defrin detailed three main waves of Israeli attacks on Iran over the past day:

  1. The first was an overnight strike that hit about 40 targets in the Tehran area, including a centrifuges manufacturing site and an anti-tank missile manufacturing site.
  2. A second wave in the afternoon hit 20 more targets — also in the Tehran area — including three important missile manufacturing-related sites.
  3. A third wave in the evening local time involved Israeli jets flying over surface-to-surface missile launch and storage sites in western Iran, striking “operatives attempting to re-access and remove munitions from sites that were previously struck.”

“Our message to them is clear: If you attempt to rebuild your terror capabilities in the region, you will be struck,” Defrin said.

He stressed that Israel’s military is focusing on targets in Tehran.

US evacuated some embassy personnel and family members from Israel on military plane

From CNN's Jennifer Hansler, Oren Liebermann and Kylie Atwood
The United States on Wednesday evacuated some embassy personnel and family members from Israel on a US military aircraft, three sources told CNN.

A full evacuation of the embassy has not been ordered and diplomats and family members are not required to leave.

Those who left had taken advantage of the voluntary authorized departure issued over the weekend amid the increasing conflict between Israel and Iran. Some have also left the country via overland routes to Jordan, one of the sources said.

A US Embassy spokesperson said that “given the ongoing situation and as part of the Embassy’s authorized departure status, Mission personnel have begun departing Israel through a variety of means.” The embassy also announced on Tuesday that its offices will be closed through the end of the week.

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee said Wednesday that the US is working to arrange evacuation flights and cruise ship departures for Americans who want to leave Israel.

On Tuesday, State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce announced that the department had set up an around-the-clock task force to deal with the ongoing conflict, including providing support to Americans.

Several injured after Israel targets Iran's national police headquarters, state media says

From CNN’s Tamar Michaelis, Gianluca Mezzofiore, Catherine Nicholls and Michael Rios
Several people were injured after Israel targeted Iran’s national police headquarters in a strike today, according to Iranian state news agency IRNA.

A number of buildings near the headquarters of the Iranian National Law Enforcement Command were targeted, IRNA reported, “as part of the continued aggression by the usurping and brutal Zionist regime.”

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz claimed earlier that his country had “destroyed” the headquarters of Iran’s “public security.”

Israeli Air Force fighter jets “destroyed the headquarters of the Iranian regime’s public security — the main oppressive branch of the Iranian dictator,” Katz claimed. CNN could not independently verify the claim, and Katz did not provide further details.

Iranian state media had reported earlier that an Israeli strike took place near a Red Crescent facility in Tehran. The headquarters of the National Law Enforcement Command is on the same street as the Red Crescent facility.

Israel feeling confident that danger of attacks is decreasing

Reporting from Amman, Jordan
Al Jazeera is reporting from Jordan because it has been banned in Israel and the occupied West Bank.
The Israeli army says it has significantly degraded Iran’s ability to fire weapons and missiles, and that’s why there are fewer getting through.
Of course, others would argue it could be tactical for the Iranians to not use all of the missiles they have.
The Israelis seem to think the situation is perhaps less critical than it was previously, because from this evening they’ve reduced the alert level in Israel to a place where you can have gatherings of up to 30 people.
Schools will remain closed, but there’s a suggestion as people go back to offices or shops where there is shelter provided should that be needed, that the Israelis seem to think it’s less dangerous and can reduce the threat level.

How ‘Trump walked into Israel’s trap’ by adopting ‘zero-enrichment fantasy’

Trita Parsi, executive vice president of the Quincy Institute, a US-based think tank, says Trump’s demand during Iran nuclear talks that the country could not enrich any uranium set off the chain reaction that led to the current conflict.
“The Israelis knew very well that Iran never would agree to such capitulation [at least short of war]. Predictably, and by design, this position led to a deadlock in the talks. This deeply frustrated the impatient Trump,” Parsi wrote on X.
Then, Israel “convinced Trump to give them a yellow/green light to bomb Iran in order to soften its negotiating stance”, he continued.
“Predictably, bombing Iran hardened their position and prompted Tehran to fight back by targeting Israel with missiles. Predictably, within 24-48h, the Israelis returned to Washington and insisted that the US needed to step in to finish the war.”
Parsi said that “much indicates that this was the Israeli plan from the outset”.
“Had Trump not walked into the Israeli trap and adopted zero enrichment, there would likely have been a framework nuclear deal by now,” he said.

Iran frustrated UN nuclear agency yet to condemn Israeli attacks

Iran wants the IAEA to do its job but the agency is yet to issue a condemnation of Israel’s actions.
Under international law and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, attacking nuclear sites is banned. It is a violation of international law. That is the first thing Israel did – attack Natanz, Isfahan and now Tehran. These nuclear facilities are under constant attack.
The IAEA issued statements earlier today saying that the Tehran research nuclear reactor has been hit, and that facilities in Karaj, where parts of centrifuges are made, have come under attack.
There’s still no condemnation from the agency. When Russia invaded Ukraine, and there was fighting around Zaporizhzhia, one of the first things the agency did was condemn the attacks in the vicinity of the nuclear facility because it poses great risk. They have yet to condemn Israel.
Iran feels that there is very much this anti-Iran sentiment at the agency, and they have become very frustrated. As a result, I think we’re going to see a much different relationship between Iran and the agency now.

World Food Programme says violence against those seeking aid ‘completely unacceptable’

The WFP said in a statement that “far too many people have died” while seeking aid in Gaza. The statement comes as continuous Israeli attacks on people seeking assistance have killed dozens of Palestinians in the last several days.
“Any violence resulting in starving people being killed or injured while seeking life-saving assistance is completely unacceptable,” reads the statement, which also laments continued restrictions in aid entry into Gaza.
“Over the last four weeks, WFP has been able to dispatch just 9,000 metric tons of food aid inside Gaza – a tiny fraction of what a population of 2.1 million hungry people needs,” it says, noting that during a previous ceasefire it facilitated the entry of as many as 600 trucks per day into Gaza.
