This is a sign they want deescalation. The US didn't even destroy their main nuclear facility and they had ample time to remove their uranium so why would Iran launch a more severe strike in response. I think hostilities will come to a halt for the time being. Iran is much weaker and will be much more vulnerable when Israel decides to continue its strikes. If I'm Iran right now I am cozying up with China and fortifying my air defenses as quickly as possible.

In case some did not know, this is not the first time Iran have fired missiles towards a US airbase and when it did happen, USA did not act militarily against Iran directly, and this was under Trump.

So please save the “WW3 coming!!!!!” hype for now. This is a saving face exercise for Iran.
